Those things were fun and are collectible.. Definetly parallel stance only, but fun to carve long hills on.

This brings back memories. Some older dude was riding a techni ski at the skatepark. With time, He could carve grind the snake run end bowl {vert}.That was 30yrs ago.It's a little sketchy pumping on transition on a parallel stance.

Once in a while, This pops up on ebay for $50-150.

YES! my friend claude has a tekni ski! we were all trying to skate at this freeride a year or so ago in France, he wa the only one that could get going on the dam thing, but then he was an olympic ski instructor years ago.
mental little thing, great fun, but a bit limited.

Yeah, these things were used as a training aid for skiing, back when a tight parallel ski stance was in style.

just found one of these while cleaning out the attic at my new place....anyone interested??? i haven't been able to figure out how to upload my own picture yet, but it looks exactly like the one posted above, only with a little more scuffing on the metal...
