Re: Vintage Old School page 50's and up
I am not your Huckleberry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Needle Nose is from 1977 . Since we are talking about Turner boards just like I said. The other board on the right is ??? I want too know what you think it is for those who think they Know. I think I know but if I don't than Let's figure it out. My friend Tiger said it's a California Classics board and with out seeing it. I think it is also!! ??? What do you think it is????
Thanks

Looks like a Fusion w/o the fancy pinstripes they used. If memory serves me, they used to work for Turner until 77/78 or so, and tried their hand at the slalom market. Short lived

I thought it looks to much like a turner to not be closely related to it. Fusion sounds right to me all I know is it's a rare deck and that's for Sure. Thanks Ogre, for the help!! I know we had our ups and downs with each other in the past.
Thanks

STFU you kook... Just teasing! All's good
Fusion usually had very fancy paint jobs and pinstripes.. I remember one of theitr ads in Skateboarder with a board all fancified like the corvette and bikini clad girl. The Vette and Board were straight out of a hot rod Custom show from the 70's .
But yeah, I'mm 99.9 % sure that's a Fusion, but in plain white

Yeah..Hyper Stradas were the stuff for a while. Quad skate wheels that did very well in the absense of slalom specific wheels. I have several sets Tom Peterson made some coin off of slalom racers with those

Re: Vintage Old School page 50's and up
OK, this weekend I am going to be selling some things at the UCSD Muir event if anyone wants to come out and see what I am selling. Most of the things are used and some new things and new old stock. All of the things are from all different time frames in skateboards. odd ball wheels and trucks. Full sets of wheels and trucks from the 70's and 80's and replacement axles. 1978 Vintage skate keys. You can PM me if you are looking for a hard to find thing and I will bring it if I have one or more?
Thanks

Is anybody interested in some red 60 mm Kryptos? Great shape-no coning. These are the cored wheels that followed the C series wheels. 1979 or 80? Anyway, they could be used to set up a rideable time machine, or a display board. Make an offer if interested.

Well, I'm interested in some photos of them!
On a different note: somebody posted too-big photos. Can you replace them with smaller sized items?
