Hmm nope, this one only has five floors, but they're usually almost entirely car free.

this is called the chan center, sometimes there are sessions there, mostly a winter thing.

Which parking lot are you guys talking about, there is one by the chan center? The closet one I know is across from the SUB by brockhall.

gunna be in vancover in a couple weeks. any good places to skate? preferibbly ezier routes im a nub and will be recovered from a broken leg by then (hopefully).

Wish UBCO had a parking garage >.>

Instead we get 3 HUGE parking lots, all on seperate levels.. It's quite a walk if you park in the lowest level.

chan centre is alright, better laaate at night when theres no cars, but overall the thunderbird parkade it way better cuz its bigger and security never comes

i am doing the thunderbird one this weekend but if you know where vancouver college is there is a small one near it on 41st in the hsbc building around back it isn't very big but the security gaurds are not allways there. the best time to go is around lunchtime or right after school at about 3:30-4:00. when they are there my friends and i just make one really fast run if we are close to it and they get pissed of its pretty fun

. the only problem is its only four floors

Well I have a bit of a story.

Went up there with my friend once to the top floor and two RCMP were right there having a coffee break or something. They didn't do anything. They actually looked mildly interested at us...RCMP are cool.

Then another time I was with these exchange students and we were playing Mafia in the same place and suddenly these police cars whoosh into us with sirens on and we all panicked because WE WERE JUST SITTING THERE. And then these RCMP come sauntering out talking about reports of graffiti. We were all pretty scared - especially the foreign people - but they checked out stuff and we were clean.

So RCMP can be unpredictable, haha.

Just do fellow longboarders a favour and don't get honked at by a car, so someone doesn't complain. I've seen - and know - a lotta kids that use that place! My advice is stay on the top floor. It's got plenty of room.
