Langley (And surrounding areas), BC
Hey,
So my two friends were the ones that got me in to longboarding, but they are jackasses and have bummed out on me on the last three times we were supposed to go longboarding. SO! Who lives in or around langley and is just learning to longboard / knows some good areas around here? I am still learning the very basics.
Jordan
First Longboard:
Rayne Nemesis, Black Randal 180mm RII's, Retro 83a Yellow ZigZags, Bones Reds Bearings, and Jim Z Speed Bushings (85a).

I'm in Maple Ridge, not far now that that new bridge is up. Send me a PM sometime if you're interested. I don't have my board yet, but I'm hoping it will get here within the next two weeks.

Haha, I think I've seen two people on boards. One of them was some metalhead/thrasher, riding something that almost looked like a KS M1, and my neighbor, and I have no idea what she rides, it's a dropped board though.
Once I get my board and actually learn how to ride it, we should skate =D

I can help you learn a bit when you get your board.... LOL am I your neighbour? I ride a Landy evo, that would be a dropped board...

Judging from the age on your profile, I'm going to guess no, unless you lied about it =P
Where abouts do you live? I'm near Dewdney and 207th.

Ah =P
Yeah, I guess you're not my neighbor, then. I'll have to hit you up sometime when I get my board, though.

I really would like to... however, I broke my wrist just two days ago. The doctor said I don't have an obvious break so he will take the cast off in 2 weeks time and xray my wrist again. And then the fun starts I guess...
The crazy thing is I broke my wrist riding my board at around 5km/h , definitely less than my jogging speed -- weird.
well yeah I'm up for a ride with anyone nearby or a bus ride away ... i need someone to look out for me anyway. I just need some time to heal up
