Where the hell are all the longboarders? I know your out there because I see some of you every now and then when I am driving around. Getting tired skating on my own. Hit me up.

They have events all the time. Go to one and meet riders.

The closest I have found was Courtenay and I have gone to Nanaimo (hour and a half drive) and Vancouver (hour and a half drive and hour and a half ferry). That is all long drives, except 30 minutes to Courtenay. When are there events in Campbell River? There were one or two meets over the summer and then they fell apart after that. Do you know something I don't? I have friends that are riders but none of them are from here. Even my one friend who I ride with lives 4 hours away so I can only skate with him if he comes up once in a blue moon. I have posted on here and on Coast. I have even tried to get a group together and have once again posted for Sunday sessions. I am either being ignored or these dudes don't look here or on Coast.

Alot of friends and I longboard, but we are all highschool students..
I ride a dervish. If you ever see a kid with a dervish with custom grip that has some hearts, a panda, and orange inheat otangs. Yellow gloves and knee pads its me.

I believe you met one of my friends Shae at Katies Ricebox?

Yeah I met Shae last week. I don't mind riding with younger skaters, I mean let's face it, I'm getting older and most of the skaters are younger. I go skating quite often and live on Springbok so even just my neighbourhood is a lot of fun to mess around in. I started a Facebook group Welcome to Facebook have as many longboarders as you can join up. I want to start getting some weekend sessions going so we don't have to drive to Comox or Nanaimo.
