Default Vancouver, BC area slalom thread

One ongoing thread to post regular sessions in an area makes sense. This one's for Vancouver, BC area slalom sessions and related events.

Sat, July 14, 9am at the Greystone bike path in Burnaby. Malcolm and me.

Sun July 15 TENTATIVELY early evening Eddington in Vancouver. Malcolm, me and K-Rimes with the timing system. (waiting to hear from K to confirm)

K-Rimes seems to be out but Malcolm and I will prob'ly be running cones somewhere......

good sesh today. i like the course but i want to see some times to challenge myself. i think ill bring a selection of wheels and we'll see whats fast.

this thread will be way better than trying to use coast for organizing events.

we must get airin out to more sessions aswell.
if your reading this airin, come on out to skate

Looking good guys!

I'm just in back after two weeks of sun and surf on Maui and am about to leave for three weeks of travel in the UK tomorrow so see you guys in August some time.

Keep up the good work organizing B.C's slalom scene.

Anyone up for a mid-week evening? Forgetting the short cable for the timer was totally bonehead. I need to do some timed runs soon...I'm really slacking off these days and need something to boot me in the arse. Eddington?
Malcolm?
KRimes?
Need to get Pape and Graham and some guys like that out...and Earl with some real trucks. That kid can be fast if he wants it.

Yo dudes!

Malcom, yes, you are correct, these 109s are great.

It's set up on a 71cm Airflow slalom cruiser I picked up inj Switzerland.

I'd like to try them out on some cones, but I'm sure this setup is better for banked backlane trashcan bashing.

Thumbs up Re: Vancouver, BC area slalom thread

I'm readin' this thread, thinking of the implication that slalom might catch on big in Van and imagining some skaters in Toronto shaking their fists at the screen, "Curse you, Jeffb!!"

If you speedboarders take to slalom like the IGSA crowd in SoCal have, it's gonna be cool!

It's coming dude, LOOK OUT!

If anyone wants to do like a 7:30pm THURDAY session I'm in. WED 7:30pm (today) would work too but someone else would have to bring cones and phone me to tell me where cause I'm at work all day not near a computer.
