PUSH FOR THE CURE FINALE : Oct 7-9 : Whistler To Vancouver
THE FINAL PUSH:
Currently in Winnipeg, Manitoba, the PUSH team has covered nearly 5000 km with another 3000 km remaining before arriving in Stanly Park on Thanksgiving Weekend. Having raised up-wards of $25,000 for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, the public support has been phenomenal and the experience, unforgettable.
Now more than 1/2 way through our cross-Canada skate we are gearing up for one final, massive fund-raising event.
HERE'S WHAT WE ARE CONSIDERING:
WHAT: 3 day, 150 km skate from Whistler to Vancouver along the Sea-to-Sky highway.
Approximately 100-500 riders from around the globe.
Participants will be challenged to collect pledges totaling $500 each.
WHEN: Thanksgiving Long Weekend - October 7, 8, 9
COST: $25 Entry fee to help cover the cost of campsites and dinner (two nights).
A ROUGH SCHEDULE:
DAY 1 - Saturday, October 7th:
-Registration in Whistler
-Ride Whistler to Alice Lake Provincial Park (65 km)
DAY 2 - Sunday, October 8th:
-Ride Alice Lake Provincial Park to Cypress Provincial Park (65 km)
DAY 3 - Monday, October 9th:
-Ride Cypress Provincial Park to Vancouver
-Closing ceremony in Stanley Park (25 km)
