Default Races in Vancouver or close to...

Hey, Im from vancouver island in BC and when the season starts up again I want to start getting into the racing scene. I was just wandering if anyone knows if there will be any speedboarding events close to or around vancouver BC within the next year.
- thanks,
Will

Jeez... it's a small town: ride across it and ask a few skaters. Pretty hopping scene up there, you'll be stoked if you don't already know about it.

Relativity... Not sayin' it isn't the Big City to ya'! Either way, Wizzle oughta get hooked up with you, even if you do convert him over to the ways of slalom.

yeah yeah i know, its all relative. metro area is about 2 million, comparable in size to portland and san diego. it takes a damn long time to get across on a skate because its a long skinny city. natural barriers and political boundaries push all the development towards the east.

but yeah back to skateboarding...

wizzle if you ever make it to the mainland im down to skate but im not huge into speedboarding. i will be organizing a few slalom races this summer if youre i nto that kind of thing

I am jealous of the scene you guys have. Finding someone/somewhere to skate with doesn't seem to be a problem.
