cruising in van - anyone want to join me?

been skating solo for a long time and haven't been exploring many new areas. i would love to get together for a ride around and find some new fav spots. hopefully soon i will have the confidence to go out on cypress bombs or sliding sessions with some of the crews around here but...i'm still working up to it

i will be living downtown vancouver soon and want to rip it up with other boarders!!!

Hey man,

I just moved to Vancouver at the beginning of Sept. I've been doing a lot of the solo stuff myself lately, looking for a couple people to crew with. I live right downtown, Stanley Park is a 2 minute walk down the beach. Let me know where/when you ride. I'm from Kelowna originally and I had one or two guys I'd cruise with there. Solo just isn't the same.

Yeah check Coast! There's a few tutorials coming up and also regular slide sessions on Tuesday night you should come to! I'm always down to skate outside of work so shoot me a message and lets get 'er done! The Van locals are all rad people and always down to show new riders the ropes and spots.

awesome! i have been checking out coast for sure - i think that's where i found the link to come here actaully. i missed the all girl skate jam which would have been fun so i will try harder to make it to the safety tutorials.

after i move in (next week! eeep ) i'll need to hit you guys up for some skating!

i really want to try sliding but i'm still working to get some gear together (my crappy glove job fell apart quickly!) tuesday sliding will be good for me....in a couple weeks. do you like to slide in the rain? or are we running out of time?!?

I live in deep cove, north van, but am totally down for finding new spots all over town. perhaps a seawall cruise sometime next week? I missed the one during the summer and have always meant to do it with a few people.
and ya, BP's is sweet. don't know what the conditions are right now post-snowing.
