    Default Deep Cove

    Any riders here from Deep Cove, North Vancouver BC? Tis where I live, and I love the area. Just wondering if there's anyone on Silverfish who digs this area as much as I do, and who'd like to go riding!!!

    Deep Cove! Let's ride the donut!

    Ya I've been meaning to go to a session. Are they primarily hitting up parking garages these days? Cause I just got a new board and I don't wanna #### it up with wet roads.

    haha, fair enough.

    Anybody who's interested, I made a rough route sketch of some good runs in deep cove.
    Green/Blue = longboarding route
    Yellow = paves paths
    Red = Blind Corners with traffic
    Purple = direction of hill

    Up is West, if you want to see the original on google earth type in "Mount Seymour Parkway at Dollarton"

    They hit parking garages last week but I'm not sure were we are headed tomorrow. I got a new board too and don't want to ride it in the rain.

    I'm in Hawaii until next friday anyways, so I'll see what's happenin next saturday. Streets here are pretty flat, and a bit to busy for any serious riding, but there's two sweeeeet parkades right next to my hotel.

    word on the street is that deep cove is a tiny little part of metro vancouver. youd be way better off asking if anyone was from metro van, cause deep cove is tiny and theres only a few thousand people max living there. it would be easier to find skaters in deep cove by riding your board down the main drag than by posting here.

    you remind me of those kids on coast asking if anyone was from sylvan lake alberta. of course nobody is from there, cause if they were you would already know them

    / rant
    hey yo son that's my name whats the word?

    Lol, ya, I know how big deep cove is, because I've lived there all my life. Since i do so much spontaneous riding around the cove, I thought it'd be nice to find some riding buddies who know the area as well as I do. And even though I ride my board down "the main drag" every day to get to work, I've only met one local who does some serious riding. And since posting a similar post on coast, now I know of more.

    How about that, it worked!

    ya never hesitate to give me a shout! I'm always down for a sesh, especially looking forward to this season. Last year, i was just doing it for the hell of it. This year, I'm getting serious about learning some good skills and honing technique.
