Longboard Trip Suggestions for this summer

Hey, I'm working in Vancouver this summer and want to see the province on my weekends ( trips of 3 days) and maybe some longer week long trips. But it would be way better to see the province on my longboard... so does anyone have any suggestions on where to go? nice sections or road/highway? places to camp or cool towns?
I have some friends in Victoria so they can suggest places on the island, but I was thinking of heading towards the Kettle Valley, Okanagan, as well as Whistler... maybe even further north towards Tyax and Lillooet.
