As with all Flexdex boards hailing from the RT collection, the RT Flexdex Pro 40 blasts asphalt, cement and anything else its wheels roll onto. The furthest thing from your standard skateboard, the new Flexdex RT collection are the most high end, technologically advanced boards in the 2007 line-up. In short, the RT Pro40 is in a class all its own. With a deck produced from the freshest recipe of Flexdex 3/8” material…the BLACK, the RT Pro 40 is lighter, faster, flexier and more responsive than any of its predecessors as well as being better equipped. The RT Pro 40 uses the same deck as the standard Pro 40 however the differences between the two are monumental. The RT Pro 40 flosses the most performance focused hardware available, delivering the highest rider control of any longboard skateboard its size. The RT Pro 40's supreme flexibility, paired with Randal II 180 racing trucks, 1/4" Vibra Soft risers, 70mm/78a ABEC 11 Flashback Wheels and Biltin ABEC7 Speed Bearings make for a synchronized riding system that combines smooth maneuverability with explosive performance. Does all that stuff matter? YES. And the RT Pro 40 delivers. Uncle Ebone says "You know, since the NEW Pro40 rides better than the OLD Pro40v, the crew here had to step up. Applying Ride Technology to the Pro40 allows us to offer you the most frikkin awesome riding Flexdex in our history. Here's the math: Pro40 kicks ass. RT Pro40 dominates. Wearing a helmet is highly recommended." (Tip: it's the best cross-trainer I have ridden for improving my snowboard charging). The RT Pro 40 is a dynamic and highly reactive skateboard with an unargueably unbeatable arsenal of hardware, yeah…that means it can’t be beat. Combining the patented BLACK Flexdex Pro 40 deck with the industries most advanced and technical hardware, the RT Pro 40 provides the highest level of rider control possible. Sure the green wheels and shiney trucks are pretty, but they’re not just a matter of aesthetics: the high end ABEC 11 Flashback wheels, Biltin bearings and Randal II 180 trucks literally solidify the nature of this board. Offering greater stability than the standard model, the RT Pro 40 allows for a unique, tactile style of control as the board holds firm when carving, bombing and hard turning, but is equally comfortable laying out massive slides and dynamic, bank shredding laybacks. The top of the line 70mm ABEC 11 Flashback wheels, on the RT Pro 40, combine a high rebound urethane, wider contact patch and flexible outer lip for incredible smoothness, unrivaled speed and superior traction in turns. The Flashbacks wheels are perfect for cruising, carving and speedboarding but are also just as easily released by the rider for sliding and park riding in an instant. Equally as impressive, the highly desirable Abec 7 Biltin bearings, on the RT Pro 40, are the first precision bearing designed for skateboarding that incorporates an integrated spacer and washer. The perfectly faced inner races provides precise spacing and perfect alignment so that the locknuts can be snuggly tightened without pinching or binding the bearings. The bearings work together to more evenly share the sideloads and keep your wheels flat on the ground for better wear. This patented system is guaranteed to give you the fastest and strongest bearings on the planet. Tested by the world's fastest skateboarders in the most demanding conditions, Biltins provide unparalleled performance in all conditions. They are also the easiest bearings to use, making those nasty little washers and annoying spacers a thing of the past. Designed to be easier to maintain than other bearings, Biltins are simply the best and fastest skateboard bearings on the market today. Finally, the well known and respected Randal II 180 Carving Trucks, on the RT Pro 40, bring a ride to the table that is unmatched. Using a reverse kingpin design, the Randal II 180 racing trucks, in combination with the flexible nature of the RT Pro 40’s deck material, allow for 35% higher deck to wheel turning ratio than any other trucks their size, but also maintain stability due to their extremely wide stance. Speed? Stability? Precise turning? Yeah, R IIs do that. All in all, the RT Pro 40 is the shit. Get technical. User reviews

Great Board, Thursday, 08 January 2009 Written by stoopidchris - View all my reviews - Top 500 Reviewer Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: About 6 monthsWhat is your setup like?: 1/4 inch risers, 75mm In Heat O'tangs, Tattoo Skate bearings, 30 and a 45 degree seismic truck Typical Session Discipline: carving and sliding How much did you pay?: $80 Where did you purchase it?: Ebay (bought it as a blemished deck) What were the strengths of the deck.: It is bevery flexible and although it will show impact when it hits a sidewalks, I had have not had any chunks come off. it is also really stable because of the weight and can turn well due to the flexibility. What were the weaknesses?: The fact that you can tell exactly where it hit something and how hard it hit. Also you can get splinters form the sides of the board, but I jsut put gorilla glue over the sides, smoothed it out, and now I have no problem with splinters Similar decks you have ridden?: Loaded Dervish and Loaded Vanguard due to the flexibility of them Would you recommend it?: Yes
