Champions in multiple divisions - kids, juniors, amateurs and professionals both male and female - will be crowned in four disciplines: Slalom, Giant Slalom, Tight Slalom, and Skatepark Slalom. Overall titles will also be awarded to the combined champion of each division. Winners in the professional category will receive many thousands of dollars in cash prizes.

Notable competitors will include two-time Overall World Professional Champion and Louisville resident Jason Mitchell; 2006 U.S. Hybrid Slalom Champion Chris Barker (a Longmont resident); Richy, "the Brown Bomber" Carrasco; Chris Chaput of Huntington Beach, California; Marion "Hammerhead" Karr of the infamous Downhillbillies in North Carolina; as well as several previous U.S. and World Championship title holders in individual slalom disciplines, both professional and amateur.  Also expected to compete are skateboard celebrities Steve Olson and David Hackett, featured in the landmark skateboard history documentary "Dogtown and Z-Boys".
