Seasons are an integral aspect of the biorhythm of the planet and all the denizens there within. Not only do the seasons force catalyst for the flora and fauna of our planet; they also give those of us passionate about board sports a way to harness every season. The head and a half swells, the sweltering downhill runs and the silent powder thigh deep. These seasons give to every boarder a specific season to harness the discipline that the seasonal changes give us.
If you are charging and chasing the powder all winter, skating every patch of wet cement when it is dry, watching the waves rise and fall for that epic day , Never Summer in co-operation with Silverfish Longboarding have a way for you to score two new boards: “The All Season Shredder Contest”. Never Summer has put together a massive prize back for the rider that can show the world that they alone harness every ounce of the seasonal changes that enhances their board sport. This contest is set up to show that it’s not skating, surfing or snowboarding that you select as your discipline but it is all seasons and all board sports that really fix your stoke addiction. Could you use $1,000.00 in new gear? Well, get on it, shredder!
How to be a Total ASS: You will skate, snowboard and surf. You will dig out the photos and video of yourself this last year and you will prepare an online presentation to prove you are an All Season Shredder. Post your information in words, pictures and video, all in the Silverfish Longboarding Forums thread you'll find linked, below. Harness every method of self-promotion you can think of that will display in a forum: don't be afraid to get innovative, humorous or gnarly. Do you want to make a video? Host it on GoogleVids or YouTube and link it in? Do you run PowerPoint? Make a slide show and attach it to your posting. Have you got stuff elsewhere on the net? great photos... you know the drill if you've gotten this far. Your audience are your brothers and sisters on the 'Fish (along with the honchos at Never Summer Industries). This will be a member-voted contest where the best all-around rider will win, the many methods of promotion can be anything that is public on the net, post wherever you can and as much as you can linking to your entry post on Silverfish. When the contest ends, the members of the 'Fish will vote for a winner that will receive a brand-new Never Summer snowboard and a brand-new Never Summer longboard.

How To Enter:
--Take these graphics and post them anywhere you can think of linking to your entry post on Silverfish. Recommendations are Facebook, Myspace, Other Forums, Personal Websites and other forums you are active on. Set them as your signature or avatar or get it tattooed on your tongue. List everywhere you are linking to on the ‘fish, more links more relevance and more people that may vote for you. That's right: if you're a shredder on a snowboard or a surfboard and your compatriots on snow or surf sites know it, tell them about the contest and let them come to the 'Fish to support you. Upload your personal videos on YouTube and link them in your entry posting on the ‘Fish.
--Upload full high res videos onSilverfish and link to them as well. If it's low-res video but you don't have a YouTube account, don't worry: any registered member can upload a video on in the Silverfish video gallery showing why you think we should hook you up with a year’s worth of gear.
--Add images, Video, Words, Art, Stories and reasons why you should win on your entrance post on the ‘Fish. Use any form of media you can think of to show why you are the best all around shredder.
--Compile what you want to put together for an entry, then post your finished presentation in one posting on the Never Summer All Season Shredder thread. Since you can only edit your posts for 24 hours, it is suggested you start linking and getting all your content together and then post your full listing of entry content on the ‘Fish. Don't use multiple posts: just one posting in the thread.
How Long:
Contest will start Dec. 1st and will run to Jan. 15th with voting running from Jan 15th to Jan 31st.
What you will win:
The winner will get a prize package from Never Summer Ind. Enough Never Summer gear to have you riding all year long -- the snowboard of your choice, the longboard of your choice. We’ll throw in some clothes as well – riding naked isn’t recommended. This is a huge contest and the prizes are worth spending some time getting all your content together.
The Small Print, Rules we get to make because we are in charge:
- Employees or affiliates of Never Summer or Silverfish are NOT eligible to participate. Well, they can participate but they're not eligible to win.
- Never Summer/Silverfish reserves the right to exercise discretion over the videos that are submitted. We embrace creativity but there is a line.
- Any videos submitted with out a name and contact information will be ineligible to win. Make sure when you upload videos or pictures you link to them on your entry page. Make sure you let us know who you are. How can we tell you that you won if we don't know who you are? We will not try to hunt down contestants, we have boards to make and stoke to spread.
- If you are caught cheating or creating multiple entries then you are immediately disqualified.
- Contest is open only to registered Silverfish members in good standing.
- Accounts with multiple accounts per IP will be disqualified.
- Contest is not open to banned members and Silverfish reserves the right at any time to alter the contest format.
- Attempts to influence Silverifsh Longboarding by sending fresh pie by FedEx will be considered but do not, in any way, result in any guaranteed alteration of the contest results.
- It's all about having fun. So, it's mandatory that you have fun. Persons found not having fun will be tied to chair and allowed to watch our entire 3 Stooges DVD collection, for a long as it takes.
