They are good gloves that slide. I have the 1st gen and those pucks are really bad. I had been tech sliding for about 3 weeks on these gloves (did some other things with them months before, but not much) and the old pucks had a lot of problems. They were thin and after you get past a certain point, they start to melt after a long long slide, this was a large problem for me. After about 5 slides on watchtower hill, they were burned through and into the velcro. They new slide pucks make up for it though.

The Thumb is a very vulnerable part, my friend fell once on the thumb, and there is a complete gash in the thumb area that will soon result in the thumb coming off if I hit it enough.

Other than that, they are excellent gloves, the ventilation on top is great, you'll still sweat, but it won't be like Dantes inferno. Just be careful about how you slide on them, and they'll hold up.

i went a couple runs and the thumbs and under the wrist puck were coming apart. i'm seriously pissed that loaded just NOW came out with the thumb protection on it. Cutting some corners guys? the entire thing had to be reinforced with duct tape. that being said, man i F*$#ing Love to slide on em. pucks went then early, recommend the tough ass gravity pucks. kinda weird doing the ninja turtle three fingered thing, but still, better than no fingers at all.

Without these gloves I wouldn't have any hands! These gloves have saved me countless times. The only comeplant I have is that after a While parts of the glove ,(like the thumbs), tend to have the stitchings break and has to be resewn or fixed with shoe-goo or something. Over-all very good glove. I recomend them.

These work great!!! they have saved my PLENTY of times. My friend and i were skating and he totally ate it. He DESTROYED his shoulder, but these totally saved his hands, head, and arms. And there still in good condition. There double stitched and the "important parts"(like the thumbs and what not) are Kevlar. Another great component from Loaded!!!
