They are a great idea. They can really take a beating. THe downside is, they're slow. Not nearly as fast as bones swiss, which i still believe are the best bearings to get.

I'm sold on these bearings. I absolutely abuse my board. I ride it through all sorts of water, dust, muddy conditions, you name it. I commute it multiple miles a day through rain or shine. For the first time since I got them I went to clean them today. I was spinning the wheels on my axles and one of them was kind of stopping. I went to go and clean them and only 3 out of the 8 needed to be cleaned. One of them was completely locked up and the rest just needed lube. I cleaned them up and lubed them up and they're just as good as new.

The ease of use makes it so I probably won't use any other bearings ever again.

On DH, you really don't want or need faster, for sliding, there is none better, and for cruising, they are smooth and reliable.
Equipment Reviews
How long have you ridden them?: 1 year
What Setup are you running them on?: Loaded Dervish randal 180's, gumballs.
Landyachtz Evo, Randal dh's, 77mm Strikers

Typical Discepline?: Slide Sessions, DH, cruising
How much did you pay for them?: 30
Where did you buy them?: Daddies Board Shop/Koa Nalu Surf Shop
What are their weaknesses?: There are faster steel bearings, but only at twice the price, namely IDS Oust Moc 9, and maybe the Swiss 6, although those are not significantly faster
What are their strengths?: They are really hard to screw up if you use the truck to pop them, and they hold up better for sliding, nut tightness does not affect them, and they are hard to get dirty. They are smooth as hell too.
What similar equipment have you ridden?: Bones Swiss and Swiss 6, and reds
FKD Abec 7
Black Panther Abec 7
Speed Metal Abec 7
Lucky Titanium
