Michael Stefaun's new Pro Deck from Pool Kings is bringing the bling!  Look at that thing!  Click it to visit the site.

Active Image

Stefaun's roots are in street skating. Therefore, it's only natural that his pool shape closely resembles the traditional, double-end, twin tip shape that so many street decks incorporate. Michael's Pool King deck is constructed using polymer composites and 5 plys of hard rock maple veneers. Pool Kings claim these are 8 ounces lighter than standard 7 ply wood decks of the same size and shape and retain their "pop" for a longer time as well.

They're great bearings, the only reason I don't reccomend them is b/c there is almost no difference between them and their less expensive counterparts. So I think its a waste to buy these.
Equipment Reviews
How long have you ridden them?: 3 months
What Setup are you running them on?: Evo setup for DH
Typical Discepline?: DH/freeride
How much did you pay for them?: 50 something
Where did you buy them?: local shop
What are their weaknesses?: Other than getting dirty, not much to complain about. The only thing they don't have are double shields but I don't get picky with that stuff.
What are their strengths?: They're good, have bigger balls........pretty much it.
What similar equipment have you ridden?: Bones Swiss, Reds, mini-logos
Would you recommend them?: No

These bearings bridge the gap between overpriced ceramics and regular ball bearings. You won't be disappointed, and you be glad with the money you saved. Combined with speed cream, you be able to slow these things down.
Equipment Reviews
How long have you ridden them?: 3 weeks
What Setup are you running them on?: 44" Pintail, Randal II 180s, Orangatang In Heats
Typical Discepline?: Cruising, Carving, DH
How much did you pay for them?: $35
Where did you buy them?: Amazon.com
What are their weaknesses?: None that I have noticed. I'm riding them about 1-2 hours a night, and they still feel as good as they did when i put them on.
What are their strengths?: They maintain their speed very well, especially through sharp turns. They're quiet, smooth, and they'll go as fast as you dare to take them.
What similar equipment have you ridden?: Bones swiss, and Ninjas.
Would you recommend them?: Yes
