Hands down the best slide board, Thursday, 15 May 2008 Written by 700mike007 - View all my reviews - Top 50 Reviewer Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: About 3-4 monthsWhat is your setup like?: Indy 169's, earthwing slide a's, black khiro bushings. Use this setup if you plan to buy please its awesome! Typical Session Discipline: Sliding, cruising to class, sliding, some street, sliding. How much did you pay?: $70 for the deck, usual retail for everything else Where did you purchase it?: Thelongboardstore.com What were the strengths of the deck.: The drifter is incredibly constructed. I messed up on a slide and slammed it into a wall(not ran in, slammed) and there was barley a dent it the nose, and its unoticable. The size is perfect and combined with the slide a's its an incredible ride. Breaks away easy but grips when you want it too. What were the weaknesses?: I didnt notice it until i rode my shortboard but the tail has some flex which i would amagine make it tougher to ride bowl but its a slide deck for a reason. I tried it out at the skate park and dropped in on it and it felt fine so i dont really see it as too much of weakness, just a preference i guess. Similar decks you have ridden?: Shortboard? nothing quite like it but i cant imagine anything being better shaped(ie rayne agent, surgio yuppie). Would you recommend it?: Yes

The Definiton of a Slide Deck, Sunday, 30 March 2008 Written by MJKam11 - View all my reviews - Top 10 Reviewer Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: 2 monthsWhat is your setup like?: Deck, 1/2inch risers (I like some shock absorbency)Tracker RTS trucks, Earthwing Slide "A"'s, and Mini-logo bearings. Typical Session Discipline: Sliding (obviously) How much did you pay?: $153 Where did you purchase it?: Mile High Skates What were the strengths of the deck.: The construction is superior to most decks of any discipline out there. It is a beautiful deck and is very light for its size. The deck itself does not weigh more than 3 LBS. This deck is built to last and is what any slide deck should be modeled after. I cannot say good enough things about it. What were the weaknesses?: Its greatness will not rub off upon me Similar decks you have ridden?: The Earthwing 38inch Drifter Would you recommend it?: Yes
