this is a good all around board. good carver, decent at speed, and superficially pleasing (if youre a natural wood fan). but the grip it came with kinda sucked. it wasnt very coarse and it wore relatively quickly.
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: about six months before i sold it.
What is your setup like?: at first it was on r2 180s and gumballs but switched it out to tracker 149 darts and flashies.
Typical Session Discipline: carver
What were the strengths of the deck.: its a classic shape and comes with beautiful laminates. great beginner board. not too much flex to freak you out, but stiff enough to keep a responsive ride.
What were the weaknesses?: the clear grip sucked. the grip wasnt coarse at all and it wore rather quickly. its applied directly to the deck, it wasnt griptape. so if you wanted to regrip, youd have to scrape the old grip off.
Would you recommend it?: Yes

I've been looking for a new longboard for a while. I've got it down to either this board (the arbor pin) or the sector 9 luke nosewalker. I'm lookin for a board thats great for cruising, good for carving, but stays completely stable at high speeds (30+ mphs)

Definatly go with the Arbor. Sector nine boards are horrible for carving. I have ridden every board in their "carving series" and each one is TERRIBLE. Go with the Arbor, it's better quality, flex, bombing, and carving.

it was the 1st of 5 boards for me, gotta feed the habit. The construction is STIFF, but koa wood absorbs vibrations well so the ride is smooth and stable. I work at a longboard shop, and Arbor's are our best selling boards.
