the nose and tail need grip if you get it, the drop through means that you can stand on less of the board and standing on the trucks means you may get wheel bite on your shoe or that you may slip off, it flips amazing is stable up to high 40s for when you really have to get going. its an amazing learning board due to its responsiveness and can be set up to do almost any style. the drop through may look a little scary at first, the four screw holes look like they could break at any second but thats not gonna happen pressure is not applied to each screw individually (as long as their tightened and there is actually 4 of them) which means that when 2 screws press against the thin part the other 2 press against the thicker part. meaning little to no chance of breaking. as for solidity of the nose and tail, i've grounded the board into curbs and walls going easily 35-40 and the worst that happened was the board flipping into the air. Since the board is made of bamboo it can be run over (which mine has) and the board usually will not snap so no worry on durability.

What were the strengths of the deck.: light easy to ride responsive stable as all hell good sizing for dancing and really good for flip tricks
What were the weaknesses?: drop through means taking the entire truck apart to change trucks,and even with general flex charts each board has its own unique flex which can mean a flex that you have to get used to or don't like

This board is a great all around board, I highly recomend it for anyone. The reason there is so much hype is because it's an amazing board.

What is your setup like?: Paris trucks, Fly wheels, bone swiss bearings
Typical Session Discipline: downhill slide, carve
How much did you pay?: around 300
Where did you purchase it?: daddies board shop
What were the strengths of the deck.: good flex if you want it, great for all around longboarding
What were the weaknesses?: grip tape was alittle weak but that can be fixed, everything else was 100%!

What is your setup like?: paris 180 silver flex 2 deck s9 sliding wheels biltins
Typical Session Discipline: carving, dancing, high speed carving
How much did you pay?: 170 for the deck
Where did you purchase it?: daddies board shop
What were the strengths of the deck.: amazing flex, very slidable yet grippy, amazing carver, go turning radius, pretty stable for such a flexy board
What were the weaknesses?: loses stability a little over 25 mph (not alot) and the nose its kinda fragile. (it ran into a metal bar at about 15mph and the bar indented to nose about a quarter of an inch)

What were the strengths of the deck.: its very stable, ok for cross stepping, flexy, very agile
What were the weaknesses?: sometimes my foot hit the wheels in mid cross step, small nose
