If you're looking for a do anything board, this might be it. It won't do Everything Really well, but it's pretty damn fun and more than competent for most disciplines. It carves like a dream and handles speed well for a board with so much flex. Though I'll get back to that.

Lets get construction out of the way first.

It's nice, but does not seem terribly durable. Scrapes can get the fiberglass really roughed up if you're not careful (I've got a great deep gash in mine nearly all the way through, from going off too many high curbs) and the nose and tail, as with any dropped through board, are not the strongest things in the world. The graphic is awful looking as well, not design wise, but the quality is very poor, looks very low res, like a very low dpi print. Some of these are just aesthetics of course, and do not detract from the ride-ability of the board, just something to be aware of. Actually, let's get back to the ride~

The flex is one of the boards defining characteristics. It's very springy, with great rebound and energy in carves. It can also be a little disconcerting at times. In fact, I really didn't like it when I first rode it, as it can throw you off balance if you're not moving with the board. But I've grown to find that it's a really fun attribute that really lends to the speed and agility this thing has when just tearing smooth wide turns down a nice mild hill.

Overall, this board has a great fluidity that allows you to move and carve in an unparalleled fashion, great for just about anything. If you're thinking about getting one for any general reason, you really can't go wrong.

How much did you pay?: 300 or so , complete
Where did you purchase it?: daddies
What were the strengths of the deck.: very agile, symmetry is nice.
What were the weaknesses?: not the most stable board, but not meant to be.
Similar decks you have ridden?: nothing that's really comparable, in that it's pretty good at almost everything.

Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: 1 Year

Typical Session Discipline: All Around
How much did you pay?: 320
Where did you purchase it?: daddiesboardshop.com
What were the strengths of the deck.: The strength of the board are everything, its the best board I have rode, carving, cruising, everything except for DH, it rides sooooo smooth I love it i love it :)
What were the weaknesses?: The only weakness is that it is not mainly made for DH, but with some good DH trucks and wheels, I would be only ok with flex 1, sense it's so flexy and sexy :)

since this being the first Lboard ive ever ridden i have to say it was absoloutely marvelous to learn on! it was easy to pick up skills on such an easily controlled board. i can imagine it would be alot harder to learn on any another performance deck, such as the weird shaped, and slightly higher Vanguard.
another great point is that the board feels remarkably like a snowboard. carving is nearly the same feeling!
i would reccomend this to almost any snowboarder who lives away from a mountain. if there was a board that could be titled "king all-rounder" this would no doubt be it. i absoloutely love this board. worth every penny.
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: since early July
What is your setup like?: paris 180's
O'tang InHeats (purple) =D
Swiss Bones

Typical Session Discipline: cruising, carving, garages, chicks
How much did you pay?: $180 for deck, extra for hardware.
Where did you purchase it?: some skate sell store on ebayz
What were the strengths of the deck.: beauty of the shape, drop through mounting, lower to ground (stability), awesome flex for all-round longboarding purposes.
What were the weaknesses?: i havnt found any real groundbreaking weaknesses, except that the trucks/board squeak when turning but i have been told solutions to this problem.
other than the less-than-awesome graphic i cant put a finger on anything.

Similar decks you have ridden?: alot of people say the vanguard would be similar, but there is alot more flex in the vang, and it is a slightly harder board to push. i wouldnt reccomend the vang to beginners. Otherwise there are no boards like it.
Would you recommend it?: Yes
