Good Board, Thursday, 03 July 2008 Written by Greg. - View all my reviews - Top 500 Reviewer Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: About a month. What is your setup like?: Loaded Vanguard, Flex 4, Randal R-II, 76mm Gumballs 78a Typical Session Discipline: Carve, Travel, Downhill (nothing over about 25 MPH) How much did you pay?: $300-ish Where did you purchase it?: Local Board Shop What were the strengths of the deck.: Super carvable (for me because I exceed the weight limit for the flex), pumping can be done, and moderate sliding abilities. What were the weaknesses?: Shaky at speeds, tail end drifts out on hard carves. Would you recommend it?: No

Bamboo Bringin the Bang for a lot of Buck, Wednesday, 18 June 2008 Written by slickhare - View all my reviews - Top 50 Reviewer Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: 4-5 MonthsWhat is your setup like?: Paris 180's, stock bushings Bones Reds (changing to Biltins) Flashbacks 75a (changing to 77 Strikes 81a) Typical Session Discipline: Cruise, Pump, Carve, Walk What were the strengths of the deck.: Very versatile. Can be ridden very aggressively flatland, but can hold its own on a hill as well. Pushes very fast on account of the flexiness returning so much energy. Very durable deck though it feels brittle when you first start riding it (you'll grow to trust it more). Very fun ride. Wheelbite is almost impossible so there's a lot of room to tune and tweak your setup to your liking. What were the weaknesses?: Not stable at speed, but makes up for it with carving ability however. Expensive, but if you treat it well, should theoretically be a one-time investment. Makes people want to ask for a test ride and jump up and down on it. Similar decks you have ridden?: Fibreflex Funshape Would you recommend it?: Yes

awsoem but flexy, Sunday, 08 June 2008 Written by loaded vanguard - View all my reviews - Top 500 Reviewer Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: 7 monthsWhat is your setup like?: RII's gumballs and black panther ceramics Typical Session Discipline: some DH carving and cruising How much did you pay?: 255 Where did you purchase it?: stokedskateboards.com What were the strengths of the deck.: carves nice. and haves a nice flex to if u choose the right flex. it looks nice and can do lots of tricks. can take speeds very well. i hit 50mph the other day. im and experience rider. dont go bombing hills like its nuthing with the vanguard. not built for speed. What were the weaknesses?: it can look dirty pretty easy. and may look like cracks in the grip tape or the top covering of the bamboo the fiber or plexy glass forgot which one. flex 4 flexes way to much for me and im 120lbs when i step down in the middle it almost tuches the ground. i think they sent me a flex 5 with the number 4 on it lol. Similar decks you have ridden?: the dervish. Would you recommend it?: Yes

All Around Great Board, Friday, 23 May 2008 Written by Roflkerb - View all my reviews - Top 500 Reviewer Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: About 5 monthsWhat is your setup like?: I ride gumballs with randle 2 180's. Typical Session Discipline: Carving Hills, Cruising, Dancing How much did you pay?: $240 Where did you purchase it?: Loadedboards.com What were the strengths of the deck.: The board is extremely agile. With the flex of it you're able to turn on a dime and maintain a steady pump for a good amount of time. And dancing isn't a problem once you get use to the flex-- it makes it all the better! I also couldn't ask for a better carving board with such an all around personality. What were the weaknesses?: It's hard to think of weaknesses for this board. Maybe it's hard to get use to the flex at first-- but past that it's the best board I've ever ridden. Similar decks you have ridden?: Loaded Dervish Would you recommend it?: Yes
