Highly recommended from me, Saturday, 20 September 2008 Written by bucksaw87 - View all my reviews - Top 10 Reviewer Equipment Reviews How long have you ridden them?: Over a yearWhat Setup are you running them on?: Many setups...topmounts, dropthrus, drop-decks, buttboards Typical Discepline?: DH and going fast How much did you pay for them?: $70 for 10mm, $40 for 8mm Where did you buy them?: MHS, and a local shop What are their weaknesses?: The first gen lacks "tabs" on the sides of the baseplates, so they're not as strong. The axles are true 8mm...not exactly a disadvantage, but MHS can't face them, and they're sometimes a bear (haha, get it?) to get bearings on. and, there is some side-to-side play in the hanger, if you have the trucks too loose. and i've heard of people having problems with the hangers being weak, but i personally have NEVER had issues. What are their strengths?: More stable to me, than randals...They can still carve like none other...the axles are pretty straight, in my experience...the plates are pretty durable, i've had mine run into curbs a number of times. oh, another little thing...the plate sticks out a little bit and makes a makeshift bumper. oh, and i've really come to love red khiros from these trucks...the trucks used to come with red khiros stock, which are great bushings for the trucks. What similar equipment have you ridden?: randal r2 180's (old and new gen), radikal talons, indy 215's, tracker 184's Would you recommend them?: Yes
