Super turny and stable, Friday, 02 February 2007

I put a set of the new CX's on a 44" landyachtz pintail. I was looking for a "stable slalom board" feel that would pump easily at low to medium speeds. The board itself is pretty flexy which helps, but the combination of a super turny front truck and a stable rear makes for a great ride. The board has a super wide sweetspot. You can pump efficiently from just over walking speed to maybe 30 Kph. Even with the trucks completely loose I can ride with confidence up to about the 50 Kph range.

question about the cx6.5 carver trucks, Friday, 02 February 2007

I have my 40" sector nine set up with independents and angled risers. Do these trucks turn tighter than independents? are they stable at speeds neer 35 mph?
