ride and look the best, Friday, 30 May 2008 Written by board_sports_boy - View all my reviews - Top 500 Reviewer Equipment Reviews How long have you ridden them?: five monthsWhat Setup are you running them on?: Dervish Flex2 Abec11 Pink BigZigs (75a , 76mm) Red Bushings (holey of course) Bones swiss laberinth bearings Typical Discepline?: carving, crusing, dancing, sliding, and pumping How much did you pay for them?: £40 Where did you buy them?: Apollo11shop.co.uk What are their weaknesses?: The cup which holds the bushing in place restricts the movement of the truck, the solution is to flip the cup thing over. What are their strengths?: They have an amazing feel to them, even when they are very loose there is still a gradually increasing resistance as you carve. They are very ajustable/ customisable. They look awsome too! I have polished mine to a mirror shine, it look soo good! especially because of the drop through section. What similar equipment have you ridden?: randal R-II's tracker Would you recommend them?: Yes

Holeys are for everything!, Sunday, 04 November 2007 Written by Nick R Equipment Reviews How long have you ridden them?: About a month and a half. What Setup are you running them on?: Lush Samba deck, Abec7 bearings, abec11 wheels Typical Discepline?: Everything. Carving, Downhill (45mph+), sliding, dancing How much did you pay for them?: $80 Where did you buy them?: socalskateshop.com What are their weaknesses?: Really none. But I guess they make you're board SLIGHTLY higher, but I didn't really notice it untill this kid told me, and he was the only one that ever noticed it. And also since its fall, when I run over leaves the stems sometime get stuck in the hole lol, so I'm riding while dragging a leave, but I laugh every time that happens. What are their strengths?: Well they turn like no other truck! And they are super stable, I have bombed a local with only having it tightened 3 noches tighter than it comes stock at 30mph and didnt get any speed woble with me weighing at about 130 pounds. And also...... they look so effing cool!!!!! What similar equipment have you ridden?: Well these trucks are bassically there own feeling if you ask me, but I would say they feel like Randal R-ll's except they turn better and are way more stable. Would you recommend them?: Yes

These trucks can read your mind!!!, Thursday, 25 October 2007 Written by Abram Equipment Reviews How long have you ridden them?: 4 monthsWhat Setup are you running them on?: Neversummer Norad 38"3dm Avila 75mm 77a WheelsNitro Ceramic Bearings1/2' in risers Typical Discepline?: getting to/from/around campus, carving the awesome Boulder hills How much did you pay for them?: I think $90? don't remember too well... Where did you buy them?: All Boards Sports What are their weaknesses?: To be fair I have to say I haven't owned many different trucks, but these seem to get squeaky quick. This definitely isn't much of a problem though, it's pretty easy to pop 'em off and put some lube in the cup. Some people have said the fixed kingpin is a weakness, but I don't see why you'd need a longer one, since you can only really use the Holey bushings with these trucks. I like the extra security of a strongly fixed part, just one less little maintenance thing to worry about. One thing about these trucks, as I read on Silverfish, is that the bushing cup as it's placed stops the hanger earlier than the tension of the bushing; this can be remedied by flipping the cup washer upside, but looking at the truck I've noticed this makes the top bushing slip out a bit. It doesn't seem to negatively affect the performance at all though, it definitely helps, and the simple fix will really provide a much fuller turn. What are their strengths?: Awesome carving!!!! With the way the truck design retains the bushing I've found that I can really loosen up the trucks (even with Smokes, the softest bushing) and yet there's still a stable platform to turn on. When you set to make a turn however, the weight shift just mashes into the turn like no other trucks I've ridden or briefly tried. With such soft bushings and loose trucks my board is just so quick, it feels half a foot shorter than its 38 inches! Overall these are just awesome trucks, I'd definitely say that they're up there with or beyond any other performance carving truck on the market. What similar equipment have you ridden?: Can't say I've ridden anything i like as much as these. Maybe Randals with a wedge riser and REALLY soft bushings, but even that isn't the same, and it'll just be wobbly as hell when you're trying to push. Would you recommend them?: Yes
