Michael Stefaun's new Pro Deck from Pool Kings is bringing the bling!  Look at that thing!  Click it to visit the site.

Stefaun's roots are in street skating. Therefore, it's only natural that his pool shape closely resembles the traditional, double-end, twin tip shape that so many street decks incorporate. Michael's Pool King deck is constructed using polymer composites and 5 plys of hard rock maple veneers. Pool Kings claim these are 8 ounces lighter than standard 7 ply wood decks of the same size and shape and retain their "pop" for a longer time as well.

Equipment Reviews
How long have you ridden them?: 4 months
What Setup are you running them on?: Neversummer Norad 38"3dm Avila 75mm 77a WheelsNitro Ceramic Bearings1/2' in risers
Typical Discepline?: getting to/from/around campus, carving the awesome Boulder hills
How much did you pay for them?: I think $90? don't remember too well...
Where did you buy them?: All Boards Sports
What are their weaknesses?: To be fair I have to say I haven't owned many different trucks, but these seem to get squeaky quick. This definitely isn't much of a problem though, it's pretty easy to pop 'em off and put some lube in the cup. Some people have said the fixed kingpin is a weakness, but I don't see why you'd need a longer one, since you can only really use the Holey bushings with these trucks. I like the extra security of a strongly fixed part, just one less little maintenance thing to worry about. One thing about these trucks, as I read on Silverfish, is that the bushing cup as it's placed stops the hanger earlier than the tension of the bushing; this can be remedied by flipping the cup washer upside, but looking at the truck I've noticed this makes the top bushing slip out a bit. It doesn't seem to negatively affect the performance at all though, it definitely helps, and the simple fix will really provide a much fuller turn.
What are their strengths?: Awesome carving!!!! With the way the truck design retains the bushing I've found that I can really loosen up the trucks (even with Smokes, the softest bushing) and yet there's still a stable platform to turn on. When you set to make a turn however, the weight shift just mashes into the turn like no other trucks I've ridden or briefly tried. With such soft bushings and loose trucks my board is just so quick, it feels half a foot shorter than its 38 inches! Overall these are just awesome trucks, I'd definitely say that they're up there with or beyond any other performance carving truck on the market.
What similar equipment have you ridden?: Can't say I've ridden anything i like as much as these. Maybe Randals with a wedge riser and REALLY soft bushings, but even that isn't the same, and it'll just be wobbly as hell when you're trying to push.
Would you recommend them?: Yes

Very stable on my board and super carvy on shorter boards. Best truck I have ever owned. Out-preformed Crails on my speed board. Just love the trucks can't go wrong with them, enough said.

Equipment Reviews
How long have you ridden them?: 4 Months
What Setup are you running them on?: A 47" Gravity Hyper-Carve with Biltins and Gumballs
Typical Discepline?: Crusing and Some Hills
How much did you pay for them?: $60
Where did you buy them?: Longboard Larry
What are their weaknesses?: At extremely high speeds, they begin to lose control. You can easily remedy the problem by buying the stiffer blue bushings from LBL.
What are their strengths?: They look great and ride great. For the money they are much better than Randals. The first day I bought them, I popped them on and went as fast as the road would allow without any problems. As said above, I definately recommend the extra bushings though.
What similar equipment have you ridden?: Bennetts, Bears
Would you recommend them?: Yes

just still stoked on these trucks, they seem like the best of both worlds, not only are they carvy and turny but i've had them up to 40 (which is the fastest I've ever gone) and they still felt very stable. The first time i rode them i actualy thought they were too stable, and i went into a turn and wasnt all that impressed, and they i turned harder and they just came a live.

great trucks. if you only have one set of cruise/carve/bomb trucks i'd get these.
Equipment Reviews
How long have you ridden them?: almost a year, is it?
What Setup are you running them on?: homemade 46 inch longboard.
Typical Discepline?: carving/bombing
How much did you pay for them?: retail price
Where did you buy them?: lush
What are their weaknesses?: i find it difficult to nip through crowds at low speeds with them... but that's not what they're for.you can only really use the holey bushings for them... so, some people may not like them as you can't fiddle with them to the max and personalise your ride.
What are their strengths?: the stock bushing is great.they feel very smooth going into and out of the carve. when carving at speed they work extremely well.same for sliding.also can be used for bombing.they are ready to go stock bushing and all (you can now also buy a harder blue bushing for downhill)and let's face it, they have a super look.
What similar equipment have you ridden?: randal 180's.
Would you recommend them?: Yes
