The Dope Show, Monday, 02 April 2007 Written by AB Equipment Reviews How long have you ridden them?: a yearWhat Setup are you running them on?: 06 Original Custom 45 with Pink Gumballs (77d) and bones super swiss 6 bearings. Typical Discepline?: Big Hill Carving, Sliding, Bombing up to 40 mph (so far) How much did you pay for them?: i don't know. like 50 Where did you buy them?: www.originalskateboards.com What are their weaknesses?: Bushings break occasionally but by the time they do its usually time to clean the trucks anyways. People who are used to normal longboard trucks will hate them at first. You may feel like you're relearning how to skate. If you don't skate and come from a snow, wake, surf background then you'll feel right at home pretty quick. What are their strengths?: If you would rather be snowboarding get these trucks. Full on snowboard carve. At 250mm these things are incredibly stable, even more so with the medium resistance red springs. They are also more responivess and controllable than any other conventional longboard truck out there hands down. Consistent resistance from the initiation to fully maxed out turns allows for the most precise line imaginable. I use the grippiest wheels I can get to try and contain these things. Slides are very easy to initiate with these trucks. As far as speed goes I consistently get these up to 40mph rocking the losest springs and have never had a speed wobble. Probably going to get the medium springs before going much faster. What similar equipment have you ridden?: smaller S6 trucks on Original freeride 41 and 06 custom 35 Would you recommend them?: Yes
