only choose these trucks if u just want to carve and enjoy a smooth ride. These are not meant for bombing hills but i found on my evo that drifting and slides come very easy with s8's

Update on Cracked Original S8, Friday, 02 February 2007

Written by guest   -  View all my reviews  - #1 Reviewer

Whaddup fellow riders ! ! ! Here's an update with the cracked S8 truck....I called Original and spoke with Scott directly - and he made the whole situation 100 TIMES better ! ! ! He totally apologized and explained that my truck got mixed up in a shipment that didn't go out as it was expected - so everything's cool ! ! He's a most helpful person to deal with - and again, he apologized for the error and made sure there nothing more he could do to make things right. A + + +. As I said before - the trucks are TOTALLY SICK ! ! ! I've rocked many a different hybrid truck system, and this is BY FAR the most FLUID, Responsive, Reactive truc out there ! ! My bushings have held up pretty nicely - even after HUNDREDS of slides. The most important advice I could give is to get yourself VERY familiar with the smoothness and turn radius these trucks provide you with - after that - it's more fun than what the law legally allows a person to have - LITERALLY ! ! ! I've now had the chance to ride about 50-60 miles on this set up, and it's SOLID ! ! Don't think about it - don't expect your girlfrined to get these for you - GET THEMSELF and you WILL NOT STOP SMILING ! ! ! ! The Carvestik is sweet - but the Originals make ANY deck <with enough space for clearance> sicker than the Asian Bird Flu ! ! ! I'm still throwin' up smiles from what these trucks have down for me ! ! ! Thanks a TON Scott ! ! ! !

Had my Super 8's for about three weeks on a Sector 9 Goddess of Speed. Super 8's take a little getting used to. The turning radius is ridiculously small, and if you're not careful, you'll discover the hard way that sometimes they can turn quicker than you can think. Super 8's are carving machines and perfect for surfing-style, super tight cut/snap backs. The seem stable at speed, but again, if you're used to "normal" trucks these can catch you out until you used to how little effort they require to change direction. I love 'em. Highly rec'd.
