Stefaun's roots are in street skating. Therefore, it's only natural that his pool shape closely resembles the traditional, double-end, twin tip shape that so many street decks incorporate. Michael's Pool King deck is constructed using polymer composites and 5 plys of hard rock maple veneers. Pool Kings claim these are 8 ounces lighter than standard 7 ply wood decks of the same size and shape and retain their "pop" for a longer time as well.

If you want good trucks for slalom or tight turns, buy 'em, by all means. Don't expect them to last long, though. Beware of the kingpin stripping!!! O_O

What Setup are you running them on?: Speedboard Blackfly, 89mm kryptonics
Typical Discepline?: I used them for DH. Bad decision, more slalom trucks

What are their weaknesses?: Kind of a crappy construction, bushings aren't found many places. Stock kingpin made pretty poorly. :/
What are their strengths?: Turn like madmen. Look cool as hell

They will replace them for free, but they brake in a few days if u ride a lot.

torsion trucks have come a long way singe these.

How long have you ridden them?: 4-5 years?
What Setup are you running them on?: jimmy slinger agent with 64 krypto classic k's.
Typical Discepline?: carving
What are their weaknesses?: easily broken internal stopper. the hardware mounts directly into the plate, so it you strip the plate, youre screwed. the bushings are hard to find and theyre expensive.
What are their strengths?: none that i can think of.
Would you recommend them?: No

These things are better for carving than regular trucks but not nearly as stable at high speeds as randals. I tried and liked the less stiff bushings but couldn't stand spending 20 bucks on a set. I had these for a while but eventually the threading for the hardware got all jacked up. If you want a turny truck that also can go fast get randals. you can change bushings for way cheaper and randals carve just about as well. If you get a good deal and arn't planning on bombing there ok.

I've got a set of these on a 46" board and oh man, they're amazing. Very solid feel, fast response, fast return. The stops not only do wonders to prevent wheel bite, but give them a completely set and predictable minimum turning radius (nearly 5' on mine). They turn very sharply and quickly, allowing me to weave and dodge between all sorts of obstacles in the road that I would have just avoided before getting these (manhole covers, electrical access ports, sticks, imaginary slalom cones, etc.) The only bad thing I can say about these is that they might give me some bad habits for when the snowboarding season starts back up.
