They are very fun, turny trucks. They allow for a quick, efficient pump with the right setup.
They are a staple for LDP/Slalom trucks.

One comment though, compared to my other trucks, the turning feel of these trucks are massively different. On my Dervish with Randals, when you want to turn, you just lean in that direction, and it holds the line quite well. With the Bennetts, you have to really focus on the truck to get the full potential out of the turn. And when it does turn, it turns ALOT.

This may sound fine, but this difference in feel makes a big change in the ease of turn. While the Bennetts technically have a much tighter turn radius, I can take a tighter turn with my Dervish, due to the simplicity of just leaning to turn.

something that has not changed all that much since 76 i think they know what they are doing
Equipment Reviews
How long have you ridden them?: i have had these trucks at least for a month
What Setup are you running them on?: I am riding the 4.3 on a 29" z-flex jay adams with .25" risers with 63mm tunnel rocks.
Typical Discepline?: old school style skating
How much did you pay for them?: $15.00 for each truck
Where did you buy them?: eastern stake supply
What are their weaknesses?: The stock brushings are definitely too hard of a duro for as loose as I keep the trucks. I believe that the stock brushing are around 90a. I think something softer like around 82a would work a lot better for turning, pumping, and etc. The other issues I have been having is the nuts are loosening on the kingpin and the stability of the trucks at a higher speed. When pumping hard to maintain your speed or at just a nice ride at you local skate park, the nuts on the kingpin will loosen itself off the king pin. This is something you have to think about while you are skating. If you don't check it every now and again the hanger will end up falling off the board as you are skating. The trucks will not handle speed too well mainly because of the width of the hangers. If you're looking to hold that speed I know they make a 6.0" you might what to end up choosing the 6.0 over the 4.3.
What are their strengths?: Turning and the ease of pumping are by far the best part of these trucks. If you have ever ridden the gullwing sidewinders, they have a lot of the same pros and cons. Some of good points about these trucks are
that with these, you can jump up and grind on the coping. The sidewinder's kingpin comes down too far for that, so the Bennett's are far more versatile. I also hear from our local sponsored kid at my surf shop that they way the hangers are edged it makes grinding a bit different and is something to get used to.

What similar equipment have you ridden?: gullwing sidewinders
