Would You recommend them in the future?: Yes dervish is a rad board, Sunday, 10 August 2008 Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: Almost a year, 10 months i thinkWhat is your setup like?: flex 2 with Paris 180s with randal yellow bushings and i was running lime bigzigs. Typical Session Discipline: hard carving, cruising, freeride, sliding. How much did you pay?: $240 Where did you purchase it?: Milehighskates.com What were the strengths of the deck.: It is a very fun board. The flex helps you push into carves and it pushes you right back out. it feels very similar to snowboarding and i love that about the board. I've taken it up to about 25mph and it felt solid. it's pumpable as well and pretty durable. What were the weaknesses?: The graphic is meh but i fixed it by going over it with a sharpie and its nice and vibrant now haha. Other than that the only weakness is loaded fanboys. Similar decks you have ridden?: nothing. The other loadeds might feel like it but i've only ridden a dervish. Would you recommend it?: Yes Demonseed, Sunday, 10 August 2008 Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: A couple monthsWhat is your setup like?: Crails with a lemon barrel bottom and black jimz top bushing all around. Bennet gators which are coned and i'm thinking of picking up some orangatang in heats. Typical Session Discipline: Downhill, freeride, slide, cruise, whatever How much did you pay?: Nothing, i got it in a trade. Where did you purchase it?: SF What were the strengths of the deck.: Great concave, turns much better than i thought a dropped deck would. Its stable but i can still carve very easily with this board. Huge platform so you can put your feet wherever you want. This board is pretty durable as well. also it is very predictable and you feel very very locked in in drifts/slides. What were the weaknesses?: A little heavy but not too bad. The nose isn't very durable so i'd recommend a nose guard. Similar decks you have ridden?: Rayne hellcat is similar, the concave is the same and it feels somewhat similar. Would you recommend it?: Yes << Start < Prev 1 Next > End >> Results 1 - 3 of 3 |
