Michael Stefaun's new Pro Deck from Pool Kings is bringing the bling!  Look at that thing!  Click it to visit the site.

Stefaun's roots are in street skating. Therefore, it's only natural that his pool shape closely resembles the traditional, double-end, twin tip shape that so many street decks incorporate. Michael's Pool King deck is constructed using polymer composites and 5 plys of hard rock maple veneers. Pool Kings claim these are 8 ounces lighter than standard 7 ply wood decks of the same size and shape and retain their "pop" for a longer time as well.

What are their weaknesses?: None much. They're a great street wheel and provide everything i expect. decent in parks but hot good on wood ramps at all. Get some bones spf if you like park.
What are their strengths?: A really good wheel. They give you everything you expect from a street wheel and perform well in parks. They're hard so they seem like they will last a long time

I have the 83mm, 75a. They're an excellent wheel if you can afford them and wont dissapoint even if you can't. If you like DH give these a try.
Equipment Reviews
How long have you ridden them?: 3 months
What Setup are you running them on?: Evo with 8mm bears
Typical Discepline?: DH, some slide
How much did you pay for them?: $60
Where did you buy them?: milehighskates.com
What are their weaknesses?: They are kind of big so cruising around takes a few pushes. Dont really like to slide them.(and i have an ew drifter to take care of slding). Biggest weakness is price. Thats the main reason i dont slide. At $60 a set I take it easy on them.
What are their strengths?: Awesome DH. They are very fast and really durable since i dont slide them, but they did get a chip in them after a 2 months but thats what you should expect from riding around campus.
What similar equipment have you ridden?: 3dm, sec9 race
Would you recommend them?: Yes

Great wheel if you're looking to slide forever. They wear away but what do you expect from a slide wheel? Made by an excelent crew.
Equipment Reviews
How long have you ridden them?: about a month
What Setup are you running them on?: Earthwing 35.5 drifter. They fit like a glove
Typical Discepline?: sliding, sometimes park
How much did you pay for them?: $35
Where did you buy them?: thelongboardstore.com
What are their weaknesses?: Its tough to pick out weaknesses for a slide wheel. Of course they wear away but i havnt just started sliding so i cant compare. I will say that after a month of hard sliding almost everyday(at least every other day) these wheels wore down quite a bit. They also break away a little too easy at the park when you take hard turns.
What are their strengths?: These are my favorite wheels to slide. They break away easily and will slide forever. They feel like they're made for the drifter series and when i have a pair on my drifter i couldnt be happier
What similar equipment have you ridden?: Sector 9 slide formula, bones stf
Would you recommend them?: Yes

Awesome deck from an awesome crew makes for an awesome ride. Do yourself a favor and pick one of these up if you enjoy sliding. Great design makes learning new tricks easy and provides for a wider variety of slides available to you.
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: About 3-4 months
What is your setup like?: Indy 169's, earthwing slide a's, black khiro bushings. Use this setup if you plan to buy please its awesome!
Typical Session Discipline: Sliding, cruising to class, sliding, some street, sliding.
How much did you pay?: $70 for the deck, usual retail for everything else
Where did you purchase it?: Thelongboardstore.com
What were the strengths of the deck.: The drifter is incredibly constructed. I messed up on a slide and slammed it into a wall(not ran in, slammed) and there was barley a dent it the nose, and its unoticable. The size is perfect and combined with the slide a's its an incredible ride. Breaks away easy but grips when you want it too.
What were the weaknesses?: I didnt notice it until i rode my shortboard but the tail has some flex which i would amagine make it tougher to ride bowl but its a slide deck for a reason. I tried it out at the skate park and dropped in on it and it felt fine so i dont really see it as too much of weakness, just a preference i guess.
Similar decks you have ridden?: Shortboard? nothing quite like it but i cant imagine anything being better shaped(ie rayne agent, surgio yuppie).
Would you recommend it?: Yes
