Lemon Zig Zags front dual Lime Zig zags on rear, biltin Typical Session Discipline: GS, SGS, Technical DH How much did you pay?: AU$500 Where did you purchase it?: Wefunk What were the strengths of the deck.: Such a versatile deck, it can run cones at 8 foot centres just as well as bomb hills with tight corners. It will absorb imperfections in the road surface and it's slight flex means it grips in corners rather than sliding. What were the weaknesses?: Haven't found one yet, although it is almost too beautiful to ride. Similar decks you have ridden?: There is nothing at all like this board Would you recommend it?: Yes TS FOAMIE, Friday, 30 March 2007 Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: 18 monthsWhat is your setup like?: GOG Front, Radikal rear (will be GOG rear when available), Lemon/Lime Zig Zags, Biltins. TNR Footstop Typical Session Discipline: TS How much did you pay?: AU$350 Where did you purchase it?: Wefunk What were the strengths of the deck.: The most amazing TS board I have ever ridden. It is so responsive that it is almost cheating to race on it. What were the weaknesses?: It means you have to perform when you turn up at the cones carrying such a magnificent machine. Similar decks you have ridden?: Nothing has ever come close Would you recommend it?: Yes MINI CRUISER, Friday, 30 March 2007 Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: 12 monthsWhat is your setup like?: Tracker 139 Rts/Rtx, Hotspots, biltin Typical Session Discipline: Carving/cruising How much did you pay?: AU$300 Where did you purchase it?: Wefunk What were the strengths of the deck.: Nice narrow, yet stiff deck. Very "chuckable" and small kicktail allows easy tick-tack around pedestrians and unexpected obstacles. What were the weaknesses?: None that I could see Similar decks you have ridden?: Other Wefunks Would you recommend it?: Yes SPEEDBONE, Friday, 30 March 2007 Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: 18 monthsWhat is your setup like?: Pogo Plates with Radikal Talon hangers, Avila's (white front blue back) Biltins. Typical Session Discipline: Downhill How much did you pay?: AU$560 Where did you purchase it?: Wefunk What were the strengths of the deck.: The best feature is this decks ability to eat imperfections in the road. I have run over the "Wake-up" lines they put on the sides of the roads down here on this board without incident. Any other board skips all over the place. What were the weaknesses?: It is so pretty I am scared to scratch it (;-)> Similar decks you have ridden?: Only thing that comes close is my other Wefunks Would you recommend it?: Yes << Start < Prev 1 Next > End >> Results 1 - 5 of 5 |
