Get these trucks before the pricing goes up! They also have new adaptable axels to fit your size and style. I'm looking to upgrade with an add-on axel set.

At first I got these trucks for park riding. Didn't like them for that so I put tyhem on my slide deck. I really love them for sliding, but you got to get rid of their stock bushings.

Longboard Review

Where did you purchase it?: Black Diamond Sports
What were the strengths of the deck.: Low profile gives good stablity at higher speeds, stiff and durable
What were the weaknesses?: the narrowness of the board takes some getting used to, but I need to work on my tuck stance (I'm a beginner)so its all coming together now

I raced my friend(who rode his Carbon Evo),who also has more experience than me,and this set-up allowed me to pass him on several hairpin corners and ride with confidence, in a 8 story downhill parking garage.

I haven't rode skateparks for about a decade and this board help me make a smooth transition. I switched to my old park set-up and bailed continually because it was shorter and the harder wheels made me slide out in the bowls. I'm glad I had bought this Birdhouse set-up!
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: A month
What is your setup like?: stock set-up, w/ birdhouse trucks and wheels(soft)
Typical Session Discipline: Park and bowl riding
How much did you pay?: $105
Where did you purchase it?: Sport Chalet
What were the strengths of the deck.: This board worked really well for me in the skatepark, the wheels gripped the bowls well and the wheel base was good for my style and size ( 6ft./ 215 lbs.)
What were the weaknesses?: We'll see how long the deck will hold to my heavy body and park abuse.
Similar decks you have ridden?: Old School/ Schmidt Stix - yard stick
Would you recommend it?: Yes
