I just go the paris trucks along with my first board, but my first empression is that they carve very nice and can be decent for DHing. In my opinion they are similar to randals but have a better turning ability. I've ridden them about 7 times and so far I'm satisfied, I've tried randals on my friends board but weren't as great as paris trucks in turnign ability. But I'd still choose randals for DH over paris because there a tad bit more stable. Improvements could be better material and more stability, but other than that great choice for a carving truck!
