These are actually a really good wheel despite everyone knocking them. They are big so they roll well over cracks in the tiles and fart stones. They are narrow (comparatively) so less rolling resistance - this kinda means that pushing isn't so much more laboured than with a 70-75mm wheel. They are suitable hard to allow you to slide- not as easy as a smaller wheel obviously, but they are a good shape for this too with the rounded edges, and they last for ages. They need broken in properly cause the mold skin is super shiny and not nice for the first couple weeks.
Equipment Reviews
How long have you ridden them?: 6 years
What Setup are you running them on?: Summit Dragon 101cm. Randal RII 180mm. Reds. That's it.
Typical Discepline?: This setup has been everywhere.
How much did you pay for them?: £35
Where did you buy them?: Boardwise Glasgow
What are their weaknesses?: I can't complain about them. After two sets(first set still in operation) and 6 years, they have done well.
What are their strengths?: Grippy when broken in. Durable. and cheap for their size.
What similar equipment have you ridden?: Flywheels.
Would you recommend them?: Yes

Maybe if this board was dial for a heavier rider then it would be more effective. My one is bamboo. Its my first bamboo but it is super thin out of the box, really surprising. Enormous flexibility and spring. Doesn't inspire confidence when pullling into tight pedestrian slalom, on faster hills it can be a bit hairy too. Ideal for slower cruising and comfort. Maybe for a newer rider who has not learned the benefits of relaxed and intuitive ankle flexion, this may do some of the work for you.
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: 4 months
What is your setup like?: Tried a couple. 180 Seismics, Holeys, on Big Zigs.
Typical Session Discipline: City bombing, funnily enough. Some light hills, pedestrian and traffic jam slalom.
Where did you purchase it?: From Steve Hopper
What were the strengths of the deck.: Looks great, Super light weight, Awesome Grip.
Unbelievable flex. Almost perfect.

What were the weaknesses?: Unbelievable flex, again. I think maybe there is sooooo much torsional flex in turning that it makes it really unresponsive even on super loose trucks.
Would you recommend it?: Yes
