Reviews written by Chillwesebro 44" Natural Supercharger - Sharktastic!, Saturday, 03 May 2008 Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: About 1 week nowWhat is your setup like?: bennett 71/78a, abec 7, randal 180x8, .lucky .125 riser Typical Session Discipline: cruise carve and downhill - commuting too. How much did you pay?: just over $200, $90 for the deck. Where did you purchase it?: thelongboardstore.com What were the strengths of the deck.: This thing really shreds!I used to skateboard years ago, been a lifelong snowboarder though, and just got the Supercharger for my first longboard. I've got the trucks nice and loose and really feel comfortable pushing the limits on some hard carves downhill - nice pockets for your feet too. It's relatively stiff but a bit also forgiving , making it pretty fast, but a bit of flex to really sink in to a carve. now to start making use of that tail... What were the weaknesses?: I'm not too happy with the bottom display (Like this display, only its natural wood instead of colored red)- seems a little plain. Earthwing's glider seems to have the same dude sliding, and their shorter boards seem to get more crazy detailed displays. Similar decks you have ridden?: The last board I rode was a Girl, and that was over a decade ago in middle school. Couldn't tell you. Would you recommend it?: Yes << Start < Prev 1 Next > End >> Results 1 - 1 of 1 |
