Reviews written by Freeze Frame Honey Carver, Sunday, 02 March 2008 Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: Two monthsWhat is your setup like?: It came stock with Paris 150mm, Abec 5 bearings, and Krypto Route 65mm wheels. I switched them out to Oust Abec 7 Speed Bearings, and Satori Cali Orange 70mm 78a wheels. Going to be switching the bushings out to Shorty's Black/Yellow combo. Typical Session Discipline: Small slope carving and long distance pumping. How much did you pay?: Got it free from the rep @ Surf Expo in Orlando Where did you purchase it?: See above What were the strengths of the deck.: Very light and solid. Comfortable concave and responsive. Works nice on quick snaps and turns. Very comfortable on small slopes and flat land. I skate it to work every day. What were the weaknesses?: The stock wheels and bearings where slowing me down. I gained more speed and control by switching them out. The small amount of flex makes you have to work hard on your pumps and it seems to get wobbly on higher rates of speed. Similar decks you have ridden?: Sector 9 and Gravity Boards. Never really road that many solid wood boards with no flex. Would you recommend it?: Yes << Start < Prev 1 Next > End >> Results 1 - 1 of 1 |
