Its a great starter board and it makes carving a breeze. It also stands up to a lot of abuse. I accidentally powersild into a concrete pole and dented my front but surprisingly it didn?t crack. The only problem I found was that it became a difficult commuter board after a while and difficult to push up hill on the way back home from a long session. It also needs to become a little wider espically if your foot is 10 inches or larger.
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: A year and a half
What is your setup like?: Randal II 180'sAbec 11 Gumballs 76mm 81aBones Swiss LabyrinthDukes shock absorbers/riser pads
Typical Session Discipline: carving, commuting, and cruising
How much did you pay?: originally 166$ but with the new bearings and the new wheels it became 178$
Where did you purchase it?: The Longboard Store
What were the strengths of the deck.: very flexy, a good carver on smaller hills, very responsive on flatland, lightweight, and a wonderful soulrider
What were the weaknesses?: it dosen't bomb hills very well, the width of the board complicates the foot placement, and it's not the best commuter board
Similar decks you have ridden?: none that I can think of at the moment
Would you recommend it?: Yes
