Michael Stefaun's new Pro Deck from Pool Kings is bringing the bling!  Look at that thing!  Click it to visit the site.

Stefaun's roots are in street skating. Therefore, it's only natural that his pool shape closely resembles the traditional, double-end, twin tip shape that so many street decks incorporate. Michael's Pool King deck is constructed using polymer composites and 5 plys of hard rock maple veneers. Pool Kings claim these are 8 ounces lighter than standard 7 ply wood decks of the same size and shape and retain their "pop" for a longer time as well.

Well these little buggers are kinda useful. They definitely keep your bearings a lot cleaner but they look a bit cheezy. If you want your board to be the pimp machine, these are perfect. The plastic inside of the threaded part broke and got all crunched up when I first put them on, however I have been able to easily take them on and off without issues since.

This board is amazing, life changing, epic, the ultimate piece of wood with wheels. All the fun of a longboard but you can take it with you anywhere, ride pools, and make snappy little turns. In my opinion, this board is flawless (except the things you can easily change). I would recommend starting out on Retro Bertz wheels and once they start sliding on your hills, upgrade to Tunnel Rocks.
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: Nearly a year
What is your setup like?: Tracker 85mm trucksAbec 5 bearingsBlue 63mm 75a Tunnel Rocks wheels
Typical Session Discipline: Bombing, Cruzing, Bank Skating, a Pool here and there
How much did you pay?: $132 (with Retro Bertz) +$38 (later for the Tunnel Rocks)
Where did you purchase it?: the man Larry himself!
What were the strengths of the deck.: Extremely stable at high speeds, 26' has a lot of leg room, smooth ride, this board rolls forever down the curbs
What were the weaknesses?: The sand isn't as grippy but Larry hooked me up and re-gripped it with some clear grip and now it is PERFECT. And I have the old truck placement so manuals are harder but I could re-drill it if I really wanted.
Similar decks you have ridden?: This board is one of a kind.
Would you recommend it?: Yes
