Some sort of Abec 5 bearings... Typical Discepline?: Cruising, Carving, Rat Race Slalom How much did you pay for them?: Gift from my wife Where did you buy them?: Probably Sk8trip.com What are their weaknesses?: When they break away from the road and hook back up, you barely feel it. Is that a weakness? : ) GREAT Drifters. What are their strengths?: Good roll speed. Great break away and hook up. Awesome look. What similar equipment have you ridden?: Loaded 65mm stock wheels. Would you recommend them?: Yes Loaded Fish - Surf Stylee Commute, Saturday, 17 February 2007 Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: 3.5 monthsWhat is your setup like?: Bamboo Flex 1. Tracker 149 Race Trax. 1/4" Soft Risers. Pink Powerballs Typical Session Discipline: Carving, Pumping, Surf Styling How much did you pay?: 240. Where did you purchase it?: Skates on Haight What were the strengths of the deck.: The board is an amazing commuter. I ride in NYC every day. The kick tail makes it a really lively board. I get some amazing drift on turns with this board. The only reason I am not still running the stock loaded 65mm wheels is because they are too slow on a roll. The 72mm Powerballs helped that. This board is nice and pumpable. A very exciting ride! What were the weaknesses?: The only weakness with the Fish is the potential for heel bite. The cutaway by the tail is somthing to get used to. But that is it. Similar decks you have ridden?: Bamboo Vanguard. Very different, but similar. There is nothing quite like the Fish. Would you recommend it?: Yes << Start < Prev 1 Next > End >> Results 1 - 2 of 2 |
