All I can say is that I rode the Chinook and bombed some 35mph curving hills and felt on the edge. I took the same hills on the EVO and felt like a dream... Get one and you'll not have to search for another board for a very long time.
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: 3 months
What is your setup like?: Bear 852's flipped for downhill, unflipped for shredding town. Reflex lime bushings up top when I'm not bombing hills, stock black pumpkin/barrel combo for stability when I am. Lime RETRO Big Zigs on REDS. Sometimes I only flip the rear truck, and keep the front high for the best of both worlds..
Typical Session Discipline: DH, Cruising/carving, sliding to lose speed, freeway overpasses
How much did you pay?: $50 with Bear 852's and biltin bearings. Can't beat that.
Where did you purchase it?: Craigslist
What were the strengths of the deck.: Coming off a Chinook, the EVO felt more secure based on the lower, flatter riding surface. Although it is a little skinnier than the Nook, the deep concave really keeps the feet in place making it feel dialed as far as control and stability goes. The concave and low deck height make this board feel super stable and responsive. It carves amazing too with the right bushings, I prefer a soft outer barrel or tall cone for this.
What were the weaknesses?: Graphics are ok, but I would prefer some kind ladies of human or plant form to dream about. That, or a sick Maryhill Photo printed on the bottom.
Similar decks you have ridden?: LANDYACHTZ Chinook.
Would you recommend it?: Yes

I would not buy these again if they weren't the new release with black bushing set up. The new ones are flawless. They held good and stable hitting turns in the low 30's. I rode out of the wobbles in a turn even. Just remember to breathe and wear a helmet for when things get ugly...lol.
Equipment Reviews
How long have you ridden them?: Few weeks, 1st pair a few months.
What Setup are you running them on?: EVO Lime Big Zigs Reds 852's with Black Bushings!!!!
Typical Discepline?: DH and cruising
How much did you pay for them?: $45
Where did you buy them?: BEAR TRUCKS. com
What are their weaknesses?: The old version with orange bushings sucked. The hangers had zero bushing cups allowing the hanger to rock side to side on the king pin and only worked well tight. Another problem was that the pivot bushing holes were drilled too deep, and the hanger was metal to metal on the baseplate within days. I contacted Landyachtz and they were willing to send out new plates, but I talked them into the new completes with bushing seats. New ones are amazing.
What are their strengths?: The new bushing seats hold everything in place even while riding super soft bushings. The new black bushings feel better than the orange ones, even if it's in my imagination. Flipping the hanger reduces turning, making hill bombing a little more stable. Leave them up high and you get a bad ass carving truck, especially if you put in a softer outer barrel.
What similar equipment have you ridden?: Too many to list.
Would you recommend them?: Yes

If you have the money and like to clean and lube every few months, buy them. If you don't, get Reds and go just as fast. Seriously, you could get 3 or 4 sets of new reds for the same price.
Equipment Reviews
How long have you ridden them?: 6 years. Yep!!! Same set cleaned and oiled every 6 months.
What Setup are you running them on?: Currently on my Landyachtz Chinook with Big Zigs and crappy Bear 852's. The new ones are better.
Typical Discepline?: Transportation, downhill, park
How much did you pay for them?: $50
Where did you buy them?: Vans
What are their weaknesses?: None
What are their strengths?: Fast, durable, nice seals, not red.
What similar equipment have you ridden?: Swiss 6, Swiss, Reds, nmb, gmn
Would you recommend them?: Yes

I was stoked when a local shop hooked me up on a complete a few weeks ago. I contacted them again to work out a deal for my buddy, but was declined. After calling Muir and talking to the guys there, they said they would hook me up for sure. I drove 60 miles further than my local shop based on the way they treated me. They in return got the green, and I got exactly what I wanted. A great product at a great price. They honored the 15% off sale that had ended a few days before. Seth was a chill cat who didn't try to sell me a bunch of add ons, and even gave me a few set up tips. I will be headed there in the future based on customer service, and the fact that they hooked me up. Sad for my local shop, but I take care of those looking out for me.
Retailer Reviews
What did you buy?: Landyachtz Evo, Bear Grizzly's, Retro Big Zigs, Reds
When did you buy it?: Yesterday
How much did you spend?: $214.00 Unreal price. Thanks Seth!
Was the site easy to navigate if the purchase was online?: It's set up very good.
Did the purchase go smoothly?: Perfectly, and sold me what I needed, not what costs most.
Did you feel like they appreciated your business?: For sure. We were running late, and they said if it ever happens again, to call them and they will stay open for us. Can't beat that.
Would You recommend them in the future?: F yes..

THESE ARE GREAT FOR CRUISING, BOMBING, SLIDING ONCE WORN IN A LITTLE, CATCHING EVERYONE'S ATTENTION "SO BRIGHT". I PASSED UP BUYING THESE WHEELS BECAUSE THE GRAPHICS WERE SMUDGED ON THE FIRST PAIR I ENCOUNTERED. TURNS OUT THE PRINT COMES OFF WITH THE LIGHTEST TOUCH. IF YOU EVER WIPE THEM OFF, THE PRINT FALLS OFF. IDK HOW TO ELIMINATE THAT??? MY FAVORITE WHEEL TO DATE. GET 76MM, NOT SMALLER UNLESS YOU'RE INTO SLALOM.
Equipment Reviews
How long have you ridden them?: 2 MONTHS
What Setup are you running them on?: LANDYACHTZ CHINOOK, BEAR 852'S REFLEX BUSHINGS,BONES SWISS, 76MM BIG ZIGS LIME 80a
Typical Discepline?: DOWNHILL, STRUCTURES, CARVING, TRANSPORT
How much did you pay for them?: $45 BUCKS
Where did you buy them?: SO CAL SKATESHOP
What are their weaknesses?: RETRO GRAPHICS START COMING OFF FROM THE VERY FIRST RUN. MINE ARE HALF WAY GONE AFTER A FEW MONTHS.
What are their strengths?: SO SICK... FAST, GRIPPY, RADIOACTIVE COLORS, AND THEY DO SLIDE. JUST BREAK THEM IN BEFORE YOU GET TOO CRAZY, BECAUSE THEY WILL HOOKUP TOO ABRUPTLY WHILE EDGES ARE FRESH.
What similar equipment have you ridden?: S9 WHEELS, BONES, KRYPTONICS, ORANGE KUSH, DOZEN OTHER WHEELS NOT WORTH MENTIONING
Would you recommend them?: Yes
