Reviews written by KCcarvin They can slide but they make the ugliest sound whe, Wednesday, 12 August 2009 Equipment Reviews How long have you ridden them?: a few weeksWhat Setup are you running them on?: dervish(flex2) w/ randal-IIs and some black panther bearings Typical Discepline?: cruising, downhill carving, sliding How much did you pay for them?: they aren't mine Where did you buy them?: daddies (he bought them) What are their weaknesses?: the make a really really ugly sound and you NEED some speed if you plan on actually slidding to something other than a complete stop, at least for the first week What are their strengths?: when you get em going, they get going for you, nuff said What similar equipment have you ridden?: gumballs Would you recommend them?: Yes Damn son, Wednesday, 12 August 2009 Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: about a yearWhat is your setup like?: Paris 180s with venom eliminator 90a, abec11 noskools, and dbs abec 7 bearings Typical Session Discipline: cruising, downhill carving, slidding How much did you pay?: $100 Where did you purchase it?: got it from my friend What were the strengths of the deck.: ultra-light weight and I highly recommend getting one flex stiffer than what you would need because it will provide you the same carving and pumpability with far more stability. this board takes a real beating What were the weaknesses?: as can be expected, the clear grip wears away really quick so definitely have sheet of grip on hand or you can throw some vicious grip on there when you get the thing and never have to worry about grip again ;D. Similar decks you have ridden?: loaded dervish, Original custom 35 and apex 37 Would you recommend it?: Yes mmmmm.... no, Thursday, 26 March 2009 Equipment Reviews How long have you ridden them?: onceWhat Setup are you running them on?: my friends Typical Discepline?: general cruisning, dancing and some slalom How much did you pay for them?: friends Where did you buy them?: daddies What are their weaknesses?: get dirty really easy and there aren't really that fast or smooth but they do provide a comfy stable ride What are their strengths?: none What similar equipment have you ridden?: mine, its better, daddies bearing kick ass Would you recommend them?: No Good but not the type of board for me, Thursday, 26 March 2009 Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: 3-4 monthsWhat is your setup like?: Blitin bearings, abec 11 no skools 65mm 80a, Barrett trucks Typical Session Discipline: pumping, cruising, getting around town How much did you pay?: 215.89 Where did you purchase it?: Daddies Board Shop (online) What were the strengths of the deck.: VERY FLEXIBLE!!!!!, can not break... ran it over with my truck perfectly fine, Bouncy, glides like a motha flippin ice block on.... ice What were the weaknesses?: too small for me... i like big boards, if you don't pump correctly it will throw you off the board, need to footbrake alot to not die, A LOT OF SPLINTER THINGS ON THE SIDE OF THE BOARD!!! They turn and grip like nothing you ever seen. Crazy fast and long rollers.
