Bring it back to the good old days with the LY dinghy.
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: not long enough.
What is your setup like?: Tracker mini 85mm trucks, blue doh-doh bushings, orange zigzags, stock bearings, hard risers
Typical Session Discipline: on the dinghy, its party time. parks, ped slalom, urban cruising
How much did you pay?: traded a fish for the dinghy and a dervish
Where did you purchase it?: my buddy
What were the strengths of the deck.: agile as a gazelle. its so light and small that for shuvits and pivots and stuff like that you can just throw it around. i actually learned to g-turn on this bad boy. the gnarly concave grips your feet like a vice and the deck looks absolutely SICK!!!!! the kicktail is perfect for those sessions in the park or just around town. great for the big manuals.
What were the weaknesses?: doesnt absorb any imperfections in the road. DONT RIDE IT WITH BROKEN TOES!!!!!! loses stability easily but that's easy to correct.
Similar decks you have ridden?: LBL coho, humu, various oldschool decks.
Would you recommend it?: Yes

The rake is either a hit or miss. With me, it was a hit. It's all a matter of taste. If you like to do what i do and bomb raging hills until the wee hours of the morning, the chinook is for you.
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: 9 months
What is your setup like?: Bear 1040s (black jimZ) switch back and forth between flipped and unflipped hangers, 90mm 81a flywheels, 10mm bear bearings.
Typical Session Discipline: downhill, sliding
How much did you pay?: 150 even for deck, traded randall 180s and flip bearings for bear trucks and bearings, $30 for flys (used)
Where did you purchase it?: onesix boardshop
What were the strengths of the deck.: The chinook is built like a brick. I've had a few hard crashes on it and the thing is solid. The rake kicks everybody in the face by making tucking sooooooooo comfy. slides like a beast and is super fun to corner on.
What were the weaknesses?: I'm actually on my second deck because the first one delaminated in about two months. luckily, LY replaced it for free ;).
Similar decks you have ridden?: The rake makes this mofo unique. the closest one to it is an evo, but its still so far away.
Would you recommend it?: Yes
