Reviews written by LustandFury First board and maybe my last..., Wednesday, 10 September 2008 Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: 5 monthsWhat is your setup like?: 72mm Pink Powerballs, Indy 150's and angled risers on the front and back. Typical Session Discipline: street/city commuting How much did you pay?: about $180 Canadian for a complete Where did you purchase it?: Flood Skateshop What were the strengths of the deck.: Small enough to grab and go but large enough to be stable and still feels like a longboard. Really comfortable. The Idy trucks on the board make a really nice low profile which I find very nice. A few other boards I tried out with Randal 180's felt like I was really high up(not squeaky like Randals either!). I'm short as well (5'6") so I find there is less fatigue when I'm pushing because I don't have to bend my knee as low. Nice flex and concave too. feels just right! What were the weaknesses?: Not too much. Maybe it feels a bit narrow at times and if I had big feet, which I don't, that could be a problem when pumping hard. I wouldn't mind a better graphic on the bottom. But I've learned to love the bad-ass black paint however it may not be for everyone. Similar decks you have ridden?: Rayne Vice Would you recommend it?: Yes << Start < Prev 1 Next > End >> Results 1 - 1 of 1 |
