They work well for all disciplines (yes even DH for some) and you can count on them to deliver performance.

Whenever I have a doubt about a bushing setup, I stick one of these suckers in and it normally fixes the problem(s). They are great for carving and all that jazz, but not the best for DH. All of their qualities are higher than you would expect for a stock bushing. For stock bushings they are very impressive and will not leave you disappointed.

These bushings are great for everything. The amount of rebound they harness is useful not only for downhill, but for carving and pumping. They work best on reverse kingpin trucks (i'm running black bottoms on my Bears and black tops on my Bennets. These are arguably the best bushings you could buy (especially for DH) and just make sure you get some flat washers (especially for the top) and you'll be all set.

If you want to bomb a mountain or a huge hill, this is is the deck for you. If you want to hit the cones or want to bomb your 20 mph hills, then this isn't really the deck for you.
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: About 7 months
What is your setup like?: Bear 840 front, 852 back. JimZ bushings, Seismic Blastwaves (white 79a, blue cores), Bones Swiss.
Typical Session Discipline: DH, LDP
How much did you pay?: Around 230
Where did you purchase it?: Milehighskates.com
What were the strengths of the deck.: It is a stable tank that is one of the most stable out there. I am confident to hit any hill with this deck. Maneuvers well considering how stable it is (due to the wedge in the front). It is also nice and low (which is why I use it for pushing sometimes).
What were the weaknesses?: Because of the de-wedge in the back that gives it stability, it takes away a lot of maneuverability. It is also very heavy (about 11 LBS fully setup).
Similar decks you have ridden?: DH race, KebbeK Caften.
Would you recommend it?: Yes

I simply can't tell you to buy these wheels, unless I have a crappy batch (I have white wheels, with a blue core) the urethane durability just flat out sucks. I pulled about 5 slides, and they are already chunking, its ridiculous and it really makes me angry.

Other than that, they are good all around wheels, light, grippy and they have a nice smooth slide, especially for that shape of wheel.
Equipment Reviews
How long have you ridden them?: About 3 months total
What Setup are you running them on?: Evo, Bears, JimZ's and Swiss'
Typical Discepline?: DH/cruising/commuting
How much did you pay for them?: came with complete
Where did you buy them?: Mile High Skates
What are their weaknesses?: After one day of sliding, they had lost a lot of urethane and have many chunks missing now, and its really ridiculous.
What are their strengths?: They have a smooth slide, they are very light and are plenty of fun to ride.
What similar equipment have you ridden?: Flywheels (83 and 90)Gumballs, and Superballs
Would you recommend them?: No
