As I said before, they're not all that grippy (they're grippy when new). The lips wear away very quickly and they become coned, which gives them their slidey attributes. I do not agree with the rest of the reviews that say they're grippy because, they aren't. Their initial slide is like a gumball, but it progresses into a smoother slide when they start to cone.
Equipment Reviews
How long have you ridden them?: 1 year
What Setup are you running them on?: none at the moment, but I have ran them on my Reflex 44" with Bear 852's and my Evo with Bear 840/852's.
Typical Discepline?: Downhill, freeriding
How much did you pay for them?: came with Evo
Where did you buy them?: Mile High Skates
What are their weaknesses?: Not very durable, urethane tends to chunk off (not enough to make it a problem), the white wheels suck b/c they turn piss yellow.
What are their strengths?: They make kewl marks in the road, they have a good slide when broken in, they're not all that grippy but grip more than you would think when you need it, but when you get to higher speeds and try to rail it, you're gonna slip. They are very very controllable.
What similar equipment have you ridden?: gumballs, grippins, fly's
Would you recommend them?: Yes

They are great wheels, not for anything serious, but they're the best "screw around with" wheels. They are just fun for drifting, doing sketchy not gripping the ground stuff with and all that fun stuff. These wheels are some serious fun and I have not been stoked on something like I am now for a while. Get these if you want to break free.
Equipment Reviews
How long have you ridden them?: 3 months (84a)
What Setup are you running them on?: Subsonic Reflex 44"
Bear 852's
Mini-Logo's
(84a)

Typical Discepline?: Drifting, LIGHT downhill, sliding, commute
How much did you pay for them?: 35
Where did you buy them?: amazon
What are their weaknesses?: They don't grip, they feel slow (in 84a)
What are their strengths?: They have the smoothest slide/drift I have ever felt, they feel like sliding in the rain on BigZigs (but more controlled). They also last for a very long time, no signs of wear and i've been sliding them around a bit over the past few months.
What similar equipment have you ridden?: I've rode coned Blastwaves (they are drifty) fly's, clear krypto's, EW freeriders, Blue Kryptos
Would you recommend them?: Yes

They're good wheels, if you want a big wheel, this is pretty much your only option and its a pretty good one, very nice all around wheels. Just don't bend your axles :)
Equipment Reviews
How long have you ridden them?: Around 3 months
What Setup are you running them on?: Was on Evo w/Grizzlies
Typical Discepline?: Downhill
How much did you pay for them?: 80ish
Where did you buy them?: Amazon
What are their weaknesses?: None really, they're a big wheel and they act like it. That means they are a bit heavier but roll over everything and roll much longer. The slide was also a bit choppy because of the huge amount of urethane on the wheels.
What are their strengths?: Roll strongly, act like a big wheel, keep inertia, grippy enough but would let loose if you wanted.
What similar equipment have you ridden?: Other sizes of flys (83 and 76)
Would you recommend them?: Yes

Its just a flat out excellent board. It does everything (except for hillbombing) exceptionally well. If you need a board for some pushing, pumping, carving, flatground cruising, commuting etc. this is the board for you. It is the funnest setup that I own and is also my go-to board, and I couldn't imagine how confined I would be if I were still using my Evo for my everyday riding.
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: About 4 months
What is your setup like?: Bennett 6.0's 66mm superballs, swiss bearings
Typical Session Discipline: cruise, carve, commute, pump
How much did you pay?: 65 for the deck from Brian
Where did you purchase it?: At the RIP
What were the strengths of the deck.: There are many to list. It does everything that I do on flatground and minor hills very well. If carves, pumps, is light and is very maneuverable. Keep in mind this is b/c of my Bennetts but even without them, its still a very maneuverable board. Its so much fun to ride and when you need to, isn't a pain in the ass to carry around.
What were the weaknesses?: Not very good for DH b/c its too small and not wide enough. If anything, they should make it 9-9.5 inches wide then I would ride this for everything, but for what I use it for, its good.
Similar decks you have ridden?: Supercharger, Random Gravity and S9 decks (such as the Gravity Carver 43").
Would you recommend it?: Yes

They're great bearings, the only reason I don't reccomend them is b/c there is almost no difference between them and their less expensive counterparts. So I think its a waste to buy these.
Equipment Reviews
How long have you ridden them?: 3 months
What Setup are you running them on?: Evo setup for DH
Typical Discepline?: DH/freeride
How much did you pay for them?: 50 something
Where did you buy them?: local shop
What are their weaknesses?: Other than getting dirty, not much to complain about. The only thing they don't have are double shields but I don't get picky with that stuff.
What are their strengths?: They're good, have bigger balls........pretty much it.
What similar equipment have you ridden?: Bones Swiss, Reds, mini-logos
Would you recommend them?: No
