Fun board for cruising tight sidewalks or golf courses. I love it. Everything below is what i have used it for. DH, Carving, commuting but it is heavy. Not to hard to push unless you are a pussy. haha.
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: 3 years
What is your setup like?: The Carvestik stock trucks, wheels, and bearings. They don't come with anything else but that cuz other stuff doesn't fit.
Typical Session Discipline: Carving, Really HARD carving
How much did you pay?: $225
Where did you purchase it?: www.CarveBoard.com
What were the strengths of the deck.: Very agile and you fun. Extreme carving machine. I used to bomb hills with it and i was stable with it but if you haven't ridden it before you get mad speed wobbles. haha. Its fun to see your friends try to bomb hills. Not to stiff but not to flexible. Pump really easy.
What were the weaknesses?: Very unstable if not used to board. Heavy too. Nothing else.
Similar decks you have ridden?: NONE. It is a unique board. One of a kind.
Would you recommend it?: Yes

This is a sweet board, very stable and fast. If i had to do it over again though i would buy the Evo. It is pretty much the same board but i like the angle to the front for better footing. Still, the DH race is a good board, fast on flat too, makes pushing a breeze.
