Reviews written by Noon19 The Lush Samba = Extremely Fun Board, Monday, 16 July 2007 Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: Couple of weeksWhat is your setup like?: Seismic 180s with Medium springs, Lush Nightrider Abec 7 bearings, Lush Avalanche wheels. Typical Session Discipline: Downhill Racing, Carving, Basic Sliding (nothing extreme), and some slalom. How much did you pay?: $285 Where did you purchase it?: LushLongboards.com What were the strengths of the deck.: The board just feels awesome and fun to ride, and is great for pretty much everything. What were the weaknesses?: There was really nothing wrong with the deck, perfect construction and a mild flex. But I bought the complete, and the seismic trucks included the gray springs (the gray springs are the lightest that seismic makes) and they were just to light for me, I ride almost every type of longboarding and they were just to loose for me so I spent about 20 bucks for another set and now its just perfect for me. Similar decks you have ridden?: I haven't ridden much decks so I wouldn't know, but people other people who own this board say they haven't ridden anything like it. The only decks I've ridden are a couple of sector 9s, Surf one So-Classic, Karl's Shlongboard, Arbor Fish, and a Gravity Carve 43. Would you recommend it?: Yes Carve 43, Sunday, 01 July 2007 Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: 1 monthWhat is your setup like?: The board is all stock, The deck, gravity trucks, gravity wheels, and gravity bearings. Oh and the paintjob was old and looked like shit so me and my friend sanded the board to make it a woodstyle. Typical Session Discipline: This board rules for cruising, carving, some basic sliding, and bombing hills. How much did you pay?: Its my friend's board I don't know how much he paid Where did you purchase it?: he got it from another friend. What were the strengths of the deck.: The board has no flex which rules for bombing hills, and keeps it stable, the length of the board is also good to keep the board stable when bombing a hill. What were the weaknesses?: Great board, the only thing I don't think its that great of a carve board beause its kinda long, but still works really good. Similar decks you have ridden?: Surfone So-Classic Would you recommend it?: Yes The So-Classic, Saturday, 30 June 2007 Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: Probabaly about 2 months. What is your setup like?: All stock (randall 180s, bones super swiss, and 65mm surf one wheels) Typical Session Discipline: It is good for cruising and bombing hills. How much did you pay?: The board belongs to my friend but I ride it everyday, and he got it for about $135 Where did you purchase it?: He got it at a sports store What were the strengths of the deck.: The board has pretty much no flex, which is very good for crusing and high speed when bombing hills. The length of the board and the 180 trucks and the no flex keep the board stable at high speeds with less speed wobble. Oh, and the bones super swiss are great for a faster ride. What were the weaknesses?: Personnaly, I wish the board had just had a little bit of flex so it can be better for carving also, but the way they made the board it works great cruising and bombing hills. Similar decks you have ridden?: I pass on this question. Would you recommend it?: Yes << Start < Prev 1 Next > End >> Results 1 - 3 of 3 |
