Reviews written by PancakeOfDoom m1 46" great beginner or intermediate board, Thursday, 28 February 2008 Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: two weeksWhat is your setup like?: r2 180s, flat washers and grade 8 kingpin, flipped hangers, stock 70s flashbacks. Typical Session Discipline: cruising, carving, small hills How much did you pay?: 135 after shipping Where did you purchase it?: krackedskulls.com What were the strengths of the deck.: ultra fast and cheap shipping, william will cut it to a smaller length too (i think as low as 38"). turns unexpectedly well. easy to kick b/c its pretty low. awesome setup for the money. seems pretty durable thus far, and after doing some custom paint and grip any time i go into a board shop or hardware store the board instantly gets comments and interest, from fellow boarders and not. comfortable to cruise on, minimal flex, great concave. What were the weaknesses?: the drop thru mount is great, but limits you to randal base-plates (not much of a limitation though. the cutouts also limit you to 70mm sideset wheels, but william said w/ a lil sawing an extra half inch of cuts can be made and 77mm strikers shouldn't be a problem. the board is a bit heavy as well, mostly cuz of the length. Similar decks you have ridden?: s9 bomb hills, bamboo secrets, custom made cruisers. Would you recommend it?: Yes << Start < Prev 1 Next > End >> Results 1 - 1 of 1 |
