Reviews written by RoaRk420 Best Purchasing Experience Ever...No Joke, Monday, 02 March 2009 Retailer Reviews What did you buy?: Landyachtz ChinookBear Grizzly 852's Orangatang Purps Bones Reds When did you buy it?: February 2009 How much did you spend?: $167.00 Was the site easy to navigate if the purchase was online?: Incredibly easy board builder. It was actually pretty fun to try out different setups with the decks and what not. Did the purchase go smoothly?: Like Butter Did you feel like they appreciated your business?: Absolutely. I got staff comments in the order confirmation page from Scott a couple days later and emailed with him several times. Would You recommend them in the future?: Yes Yes Yes Sick Wit It..., Sunday, 01 March 2009 Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: About a week....too much rain :(What is your setup like?: -Bear Grizzly 852's -Orangatang 75mm 83a (Purple) -Bones Reds -Very thin shock pads Typical Session Discipline: Freeride, Downhill, Sliding How much did you pay?: $167 Shipped :) Where did you purchase it?: muirsurf.com (The Beezneez) What were the strengths of the deck.: Great board for a bigger rider. 9-Ply construction is pretty beefy with a lot of foot room for some cross-stepping or other dancing moves. Trucks feel like they were made for the board and the O-Tang's are on a whole other level. Concave foot beds provide a lot of friction for your feet when trying to kick it out for a slide. What were the weaknesses?: Can't really get past the graphics...luckily I don't have to see them when I ride. I could have drawn something atleast 100 times gnarlier for the bottom of a sick board. This board does not deserve to be disgraced by a classroom doodle. Would you recommend it?: Yes << Start < Prev 1 Next > End >> Results 1 - 2 of 2 |
